  • A case of Burglary has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. In between 1600 hrs of 08/09/2009 and 0600 hrs of 09/09/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Badruddin (35) R/o Lucky compound Pranthya village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed a theft of Gold ornaments, a Rado watch, a mobile set and cash all in worth Rs 24,000/.

  • A case under Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Mangalore Police Station. On 10/09/2009 at 0845 hrs accused Bharath, Santhosh and Arun assaulted one Shareef (39) R/o Kumpanamajalu Farangipete Bantwal Taluk at Karavali circle Kankanady Mangalore by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

  • A case under Prevention of cruelty to Animal Act and Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act along with MV theft has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 10/09/2009 at 0400 hrs PSI Uppinangady PS and staff on credible information intercepted a Qualis bearing Reg. No. KA-36-M-1602 on NH 48 at Kootelu Uppinagady village Puttur Taluk and seized 02 cattle being transported illegally and arrested accused one Dadapeer. However other accused Mahammad, Mayyadi, Shamshuddin and Asif were manage to escape from the scene. On enquiry it was learnt that the Qualis car has been stolen somewhere else.
