On the interveining night of 24-25/08/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Sri Adhi Nagabramha temple at Yernodi Ujire village Belthangady Taluk and committed a theft of cash Rs. 9,000/ by breaking the 'Kanike Hundi'.

On 21/09/2009 at 2200 hrs accused one Mahadeva abused his wife one Bhagya (35) R/o Derebailu Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted her with knife and also gave life threat to her owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 24/09/2009 at 0845 hrs at Karikkala Pambethadi village Sullia Taluk one driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2399 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-6600. As result one Prashanth rider of said motorcycle sustained serious injuries. Further he was succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day.

As a result auto rickshaw driver one Sathishchandra (40) R/o Jeppu Mangalore sustained simple injuries.

No. KA-19-F-2064 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Mohammed B.S. (40) R/o Mulki Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Traffic West Police Station. On 23/09/2009 at 1000 hrs near Suvarna Hotel at Hampankatta Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-25-3267 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a electric pole belonging to MESCOM Mangalore. As a result electric pole damaged and damage caused about is Rs. 7,000/.

On 23/09/2009 at 1100 hrs one Fauzia (18) D/o Ahammad R/o Monugoli Kairangala village Bantwal Taluk went to Cutting class at Montepadavu Bantwal Taluk and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since.
