- A case of MV theft has been registered in Barke Police Station. In between 2300 hrs of 03/09/2009 and 0630 hrs of 04/09/2009 some unknown persons committed a theft of Scorpio car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-8433 belonging to one Ajith Pai Maroora (31) R/o Gandhinagar Mannagudde Mangalore that was parked near his house. The Scorpio car is worth Rs. 4,60,350/.

On 04/09/2009 at 2200 hrs accused Rama Ruda and 8 others forming into an unlawful assembly at Bijapur colony at Lingapayyana Kadu Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk and abused one Shantha (35) R/o Bijapur colony at Lingapayyana Kadu Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk near her house in filthy language and assaulted her by hand owing to civil dispute.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore West Police Station. On 03/09/2009 at 2350 hrs near Lalbagh at Mangalore one Vijesh driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-8049 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a road divider. As a result one Vijesh driver of car and one Rolson who was traveling in the car sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 04/09/2009 at 1200 hrs at Mitthuru cross Idkidu village Bantwal Taluk one driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-20-7861 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-01-P-7831. As a result one Bharath of car, Madhava K (67) R/o Doddanagudde Udupi District, Chandravathi and Yajnesh who were traveling in the said car sustained grievous injuries.

On 04/09/2009 at 1900 hrs accused Prakash pinto, Ismail Arif, Moiddin Bhava and Iqbal abused one Ravi in filthy language at District prison at Kodialbail Mangalore and assaulted him by hand and with blade and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
