- A case of Burglary has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. In between 12/09/2009 and 13/09/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Abdul Razak (36) Janatha colony Bannuru village Puttur Taluk by removing the roof tiles and committed a theft of Gold ornaments worth Rs 18,000/.

- A case of MV theft has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. In between 2330 hrs of 12/09/2009 and 0730 hrs of 13/09/2009 some unknown persons committed a theft of Bajaj Discovery motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-S-2467 belonging to one Shsahidhara Acharya (33) R/o Basavanagudi Kukkala village Belthngady Taluk, which was parked near his house. The Bajaj motorcycle is worth Rs. 25,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 14/09/2009 at 1430 hrs on NH 13 near Shri Gopalakishna temple at Thenka Yedapadavu village Mangalore Taluk one Prakash driver of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-D-9666 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an electric pole. As a result Jagadisha, Ranjan and Kiran who were traveling in the said bus were thrown out of the bus and sustained grievous injuries. Further they were admitted to A.J hospital at Mangalore wherein Jagadisha was declared dead while under treatment on the same day.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 14/09/2009 at 1630 hrs at Sastavu Mooduperara village Mangalore Taluk one Shrinivasa driver of Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-673 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against Gangadhara and Ananda the pedestrians and caused them serious injuries. Further Gangadhara succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 14/09/2009 at 1030 hrs near Bus stand at Vittal Town Bantwal Taluk one Shrinivasa driver of Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9151 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Vishwanatha Naik (75) a pedestrian and caused him serious injuries. Further Vishwantha Naik was admitted to hospital at Deralakatte where he was declared dead while under treatment on the same day.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 14/09/2009 at 1645 hrs Panjinadka Athikaribettu village Mangalore Taluk one Jayaram driver of Tipper bearing Reg. No. KL-14-E-3608 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against house belonging to one Jayaraja Shetty (35). As a result house got damaged. No causalities reported. The damage caused is about 1, 50,000/.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 14/09/2009 at 0950 hrs near Sudhana church at Manjalpadpu Kabaka village Puttur Taluk one Lokesh driver of Mini Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9575 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9139. As a result Shashikala Devi R/o Kabaka Puttur Taluk, Geetha and Vasanthi Naik who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 13/09/2009 at 1945 hrs at Neerakatte Bajathuru village Puttur Taluk one driver of Tata Sierra car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-5234 drove her vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Uday Kumar (34) R/o Perodi Padnuru village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 14/09/2009 at 1430 hrs one Ishwara Naik R/o Nelyabalake Maninalkooru village Bantwal Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 12/09/2009 one unknown male aged about 25-30 yrs fell down due to some illness near Information center at Dharmasthala temple Belthangady Taluk. Further he was admitted to the Govt. hospital at Belthandgy Taluk where he was declared dead while under treatment on the same day at 2115 hrs.
