- A case under Murder has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. In between 2300 hrs of 12/09/2009 and 0400 hrs of 13/09/2009 accused unknown persons killed one Abdul Kareem @ Sameer (36) R/o Shyaam Complex Kapithaniya Mangalore in his house by assaulting with a sharp weapon.

- A case of Burglary has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. In between 1600 hrs of 08/09/2009 and 0600 hrs of 09/09/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Badrunnisa (35) R/o Lucky compound Pranthya village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed a theft of Gold ornaments, a Rado watch, a mobile set and cash all in worth Rs 2, 29,700/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station where in one Charles Pinto has been declared dead while under treatment on 11/09/2009 at 0945 hrs. The said Charles Pinto was seriously injured by an auto rickshaw in a road traffic accident on 08/09/2009 at 1830 hrs at Pachhanadi Bondel village Mangalore Taluk and admitted to the A.J Hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has been already registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station where in one Nagaraja has been declared dead while under treatment on 12/09/2009 at 1445 hrs. The said Nagaraja was seriously injured by a motorcycle in a road traffic accident on 04/09/2009 at 2115 hrs near Master Ice palnt at Kulai Mangalore and admitted to the A.J. Hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has been already registered in Surathkal Police Station.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 13/09/2009 at 1030 hrs at Uppalige Irdhe village Puttur Taluk one Kiran Shankar driver of Alto car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-4060 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Ameen a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 10/09/2009 at 1700 hrs at Gandhinagar Mangalore one Ananda rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-K-5968 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Ameen a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 13/09/2009at 0815 hrs one Shivarama Gowda stopped one Koragappa R/o Patna Bantwal Taluk at Thota Bantwal Town and abused in filthy language and assaulted with stone and tried to kill him and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

No. KA-19-AB-9958 driven by one Sunil Hegde (35) R/o Sooterpete Mangalore near Phalki hotel at Jyothi circle Mangalore and abused him in filthy language and assaulted by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

On 13/09/2009 at 0815 hrs accused one Korgappa criminally restrained one Shivarama Gowda R/o Piriyapadi Sarapadi village Bantwal Taluk near his house and abused him in filthy language and also gave life threat to him owing to previous enmity.
- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 12/09/2009 at 1730 hrs accused one Harish Rai abused one Balaikrishna R/o Puchapadi village Puttur Taluk in filthy language near his house and assaulted with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to civil dispute between them.

- A case of Gambling under Karnataka Police Act has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 13/09/2009 at 1630 hrs on credible information CPI Bantwal Circle along with staff conducted a raid on a open place at Jakribettu Bantwal Taluk. At the time of raid Police found 04 persons playing “Ander- Bahar” with cards. The Police seized cash Rs.600/ and playing cards from the spot by arresting Praveena, Abubakkar, Keshava and Krishna Poojary who were indulged in gambling.
Unnatural Death Report: 01
- A case under Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 12/09/2009 at 0830 hrs one unknown male dead body was found in Nethravathi River at Goodinabali Bantwal Town. The death seems to be due to drowning.
Missing Persons: 01
- A case of Boys missing has been registered in Ullal Police Station. Harshad Azim and Irshad (14) both residents of Melangadi Ullal village Mangalore Taluk went to mosque at Ullal on 05/09/2009 at 1300 hrs and did not return to the house there after. They have been found missing since then.
