- A case under Rioting along with Murder has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. In between 2100 hrs of 13/09/2009 and 1045 hrs of 16/09/2009 accused Sadhu Poojary, Pradeep, Preethi, Shama Bhandary, Vinoda Bhandarthi and Gangadhara forming into an unlawful assembly at Bardhanabettu Panapila village Mangalore Taluk and killed one Ramesh Poojary (35) R/o Donkabettu Naravi village Belthangady Taluk and thrown his dead body into a pond near by owing to civil dispute.

- A case of Robbery has been registered in Barke Police Station relating to an incident of chain snatching. On 16/09/2009 at 1100 hrs near Kalpatharu Apartment at Mannagudde Mangalore one Indira Raikar (61) R/o Maheshwara Apartment Ballalbagh Mangalore was on her way to home by walk. At that time two unknown persona came in a motorcycle and snatched the gold chain from her neck and escaped with their vehicle. The value of the property is Rs. 80,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 16/09/2009 at 2100 hrs near Petrol Bunk at Panambur Mangalore one driver of Tanker lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-01-D-6905 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-8306. As a result motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

On 15/09/2009 at 100 hrs at Adkabare Paduperara village Mangalore Taluk one Milton D Souza rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-95 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due to which motorcycle capsized. As a result one Florin D Souza pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 15/09/2009 at 2115 hrs near Bridge at Maravoor village Mangalore Taluk one unknown motorcycle rider bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-9764 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-2078. As a result Abdul Lathif rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-2078 and rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-9764 sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Vittal Police Station. On 14/09/2009 at 1615 hrs on NH 48 at Alira Mani village Bantwal Taluk one driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2094 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which one Ramesh Poojary (37) R/o R/o Kavatharu village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said bus was fell down in the said bus and sustained simple injuries.

On 16/09/2009 at 2030 hrs at Nehru Nagara Kabaka village Puttur Taluk one Dawood rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-9976 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Sesappa Kulal (45) R/o Paddayuru Padnuru village Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

On 16/09/2009 at 1330 hrs at Neerachilume Ujire village Belthangady Taluk one Manjunatha Gawrimath S driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-31-M-2870 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Hari Raghavendra (06) R/o Neerachilume Kalmanja village Belthangady Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 16/09/2009 at 1430 hrs accused two unknown persons abused one Igneshiyas Antony D Souza (52) R/o Barebail Kadri village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language near Kadri Park at Mangalore and assaulted him by hand gave life threat to him and also damaged the glass of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-8309 by pelting stone belonging to Igneshiyas Antony D Souza owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 16/09/2009 at 0745 hrs at Krishna Nagar Chikkamudnuru village Puttur Taluk accused one Santhu @ Santhosh came in a tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-13-A-1396 and criminally stopped another tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-12-A-2828 driven by one Mummy J R/o Padil Chikkamudnuru village Puttur Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand owing to trivial issue.
