- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 19/09/2009 at 1245 hrs near Hosabettu junction at Hosabettu village Mangalore Taluk one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-5395 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Sukumar Salian a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 20/09/2009 at 1245 hrs at Gopalapura Bilinele village Puttur Taluk one Govinda driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2291 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Mini Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-03. As a result Mini Tempo driver Vivek, Vasanthi, Mohini, Revathi, Umavathi, Hariprasad, Vedavathi, Prakash (30) R/o Bajal Mangalore and Balakrishna Shetty who were traveling in the said Mini Tempo sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 20/09/2009 at 0945 hrs on NH-48 at Uppinangady Town Puttur Taluk one rider of Bajaj M-80 motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-E-5430 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-207. As a result car got damaged. No causality reported.

On 20/09/2009 at 0830 hrs accused Purandara Gowda and Jalaja criminally trespassed into the land belonging to one Somayya Gowda (67) R/o Doola Adigai Markanja village Sullia Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to civil dispute between them.
