On 17/09/2009 at 2300 hrs accused Pavan Kumar, Kishore, Deepak and Rakesh abused one Jennifer (25) R/o Mangalore in filthy language in the Wine & Dine Bar & Restaurant at Thokkuttu Mangalore and assaulted her and her friends Swathi Pai and Ananda Fernandez by hand and outraged her modesty by pulling her dress and also gave life threat to her owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt, Modesty of woman along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 17/09/2009 at 1900 hrs accused Mariyamma, Abdul Gafoor, Abdul Azeez and Abdul Rahiman abused one Mamthaz R/o near Khaleel school Thumbe village Bantwal Taluk in filthy language near her house and assaulted her with stone and outraged her modesty by pulling her hand and also gave life threat to her owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 17/09/2009 at 0845 hrs near Over Bridge at Thokkuttu Mangalore one Mohammed K. rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-8039 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-4606. As a result Honda Activa scooter rider one Ibrahim J.A. (55) R/o Bajal Mangalore sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 17/09/2009 at 1730 hrs on NH-17 at Thokkuttu Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7212 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-6867 due which lorry capsized. As a result lorry driver one Yogish sustained simple injuries and car got damaged.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 16/09/2009 at 1800 hrs near Gandhi Maidan at Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk one Gopinath driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-1400 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Shantha, Jeevan Prakash (42) and Dayananda (38) who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Criminal restraint along with Hurt has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 15/09/2009 at 1800 hrs accused one Abdul Khader criminally restrained one Abdulla D.M. (45) R/o Pelathdaka Goonadka Sampaje village Sullia Taluk and assaulted him with wooden stick owing to trivial issue.
