On the intervening night of 14-15/07/2008 accused one Lathif @ Abdul Lathif R/o Bangerabettu Arala Bantwl Taluk committed theft of a Hero Honda Fashion motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-K-9837 belonging to one Vishwanatha Poojary R/o Bramhavara Varamballi village Udupi District that was parked near Colaco hospital at Mangalore. The worth of motorcycle is Rs. 20,000/.
- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 02/02/2009 in between 2030 hrs and 2130 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Hero Honda Splendor motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-8342 belonging to one Shrinath M (45) R/o Kulai village Mangalore Taluk that was parked near Shakthi bar at Baikampady Mangalore. The Hero Honda Splendor is worth Rs. 25, 000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 03/02/2009 at 1245 hrs at Kuvethilla Kabaka village Puttur Taluk one driver of Ape goods tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-1476 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-3575. As a result Abdul Razak (20) rider of motorcycle and Nawaz pillion rider of motorcycle sustained grievous injuries. Further Nawaz was admitted to Mahaveera hospital at Puttur Town where he was succumbed to his injuries while on the treatment on the same day at 1700 hrs.

No. KA-19-A-5441 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Saroja (80) R/o Gowri Matta Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 03/02/2009 at 1015 hrs one Jaya Poojary (48) R/o Lingapayyanakadu Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk accidentally fell down from the coconut tree while removing coconut near his house and got serious injuries. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.
