  • A case of Burglary has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 06/02/2009 in between 1330 hrs and 1430 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to Gowri (38) R/o Thenkabailu Karopadi village Bantwal Taluk removing the roof tiles and committed theft gold ornaments, silver ornaments and cash Rs. 2,500/ all in worth Rs. 21,000/.

Ordinary Theft: 01

  • A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 03/01/2009 and 05/01/2009 hrs accused one Bharath Kumar R/o Pavanje Udupi District committed theft of a TV belonging to Hotel Intercity at State bank Mangalore worth Rs. 4,500/.

  • A case under M.V. Theft has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 06/02/2009 in between 1930 hrs and 1945 hrs some unknown culprits committed committed theft of a Hero Honda Splendor motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-7392 belonging to one Ismail N (31) R/o Urumane Asaigoli Mangalore that was parked in the premise of Indira hospital Falnir road Mangalore. The worth of motorcycle is Rs. 15,000/.

  • A case under Criminal trespass, Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 06/02/2009 at 1800 hrs accused Sandeep, Udaya and Bhaskara criminally trespassed in to the house belonging to one Asma (19) R/o near Vasanthamahal Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk and criminally restrained her and her sister Naseema and abused them in filthy language and assaulted them by hand owing to trivial issue.

  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Mangalore East Police Station. On 06/02/2009 at 1710 hrs near Maroli Jodukatte at Mangalore one Carol (16) R/o Premagudde Padil Mangalore passenger of the bus while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries. The bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
  • A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered Mangalore East Police Station. On 06/02/2009 at 2130 hrs near Balmatta nursing home at Mangalore one unknown driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-33-F-13 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a pole belonging to Balmatta petrol bunk. The bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 06/02/2009 at 1930 hrs accused Ashoka abused Swamy (24) R/o Somawrapete Madikeri District in filthy language near New Brothers Hairstyle at Kulshekara Mangalore and assaulted him with soda bottle and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
  • A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 06/02/2009 at 2030 hrs accused Roshan criminally restrained Kiran (19) R/o Gamadhodi Bnatwal Mooda village Bantwal Taluk and abused them in filthy language at Polali cross Bantwal Mooda village Bantwal Taluk and assaulted them with stone owing to trivial issue.
  • A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 06/02/2009 at 2030 hrs accused Tharesh, Rakesh and Kiran criminally restrained one Roshan Pinto (28) R/o Kursugudde Bnatwal Mooda village Bantwal Taluk and abused him in filthy language at Polali cross Bantwal Mooda village Bantwal Taluk and assaulted him by hand owing to trivial issue.

Unnatural Death Report: 01

  • A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 05/02/2009 at 2300 hrs one Shruthi S. T (17) R/o Lalithanagara Ujire village Belthangady Taluk attempted to commit suicide by consuming some poison in her house owing to personal problem. Further she was admitted to Benaka hospital at Ujire Belthangady Taluk where she was declared dead while under treatment on 06/02/209 at 0950 hrs.
