- A case of Burglary has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On the interviewing night of 22-23/02/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the shop at Thaudugoli cross Naringana village Bantwal Taluk belonging to one Hamza A.K (25) R/Korakatte Naringana village Bantwal Taluk by breaking the shetter lock and committed theft of (13) mobile phones all in worth Rs. 23,300/.

On 26/02/2009 at 1130 hrs Bus stand near Aravinda motors at Balmatta Mangalore one Ravi T (24) Davangere District passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-B-3797 while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 25/02/2009 at 1100 hrs near Shivabhag at Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AC-3333 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a goods tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5576. As a result one Shantha (26) R/o Kulshekar Mangalore Who was traveling in the said bus sustained grievous injuries.

On 23/02/2009 at 2000 hrs on NH 17 at Kolya Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk one Yathish Kumar rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-8658 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a one Ashok Poojary a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 26/02/2009 at 1115 hrs at Guruvayankere Kuvettu village Belthangady Taluk one Subramanya driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-18--9625 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which lorry capsized. As a result Lorry driver Subramanya and Raju (41) R/o Chickkamagalooru District who was traveling in the said lorry sustained simple injuries.

On 26/02/2009 at 0500 hrs at Gabbaladka Jalsooru village Sullia Taluk one Jayarama A driver of Tata Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-9039 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which car capsized. As a result car got damaged. No casualty reported.

- A case under Causing death due to negligence (sec 304 A) along with grievous hurt has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 26/02/2009 at 1930 hrs at Badriya mosque at Thurkalike Kraya village Belthangady Taluk Hasanabba @ Mohammad Rafiq, Ahammad Beary, Mahammad Sadiq, Mahammad Mazambil, Mahammad Putthumonu and 15 others sustained serious injuries when the mud wall where they were sitting accidentally collapsed over them due to the negligence of Committee members of Thurkalike mosque Kraya village Belthangady Taluk. Where in Hasanabba @ Mohammad Rafiq, Ahammad Beary, Mahammad Sadiq, Mahammad Mazambil, Mahammad Putthumonu succumbed to thier injuries and died on the spot.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 26/02/2009 at 1200 hrs one Krishna Naik (75) Kepukodi Kepu village Bantwal Taluk accidently slipped into the well near his house and died due drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 24/02/2009 at 0900 hrs one Kittanna Rai (50) R/o Bannur Puttur Taluk accidently fell down while working at Heddurga Aluru village Hassan District and seriously injured. Further he was admitted to Chethana hospital at Puttur Taluk where in he was declared dead while under treatment on 26/02/2009 at 1530 hrs.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 03/11/2008 at 1600 hrs one Neelakanta (23) R/o Idya village Mangalore left his house and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
