- A case of Burglary has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 14/02/2009 and 16/02/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Govt High School at Thalapady village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft of a computer. The total value of stolen property is yet to be estimated.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 16/02/2009 at 0830 hrs at Hosamane Olamogaru village Puttur Taluk one driver of Pickup vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-3131 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against pedestrians Pijina and Eshwara Naik and caused them serious injuries. Further Pijina succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 15/02/2009 at 2045 hrs at Highland Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KL-05-L-2953 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda Active scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-1929. As a result one Romel (30) R/o Jeppu Mangalore rider of Honda Active scooter sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 16/02/2009 at 1305 hrs at Jeppu Holi Convent jeppu Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-7741 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sister Venitha Holima R/o Jeppu Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 16/02/2009 at 1610 hrs near Thalapady Bridge at Thalapady village Mangalore Taluk one Ismail driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KL-14-J-1487 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-D-7127. As a result 4 childrens who were traveling in the said Maruti car sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 13/02/2009 at 1930 hrs near Ayyappa Gudy at Mallakadu Kavoor Mangalore one Umanatha rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-3080 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. CNX-1819. As a result one Maxim Sequeira (29) R/o Bajpe Mangalore rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. CNX-1819 sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 16/02/2009 at 1030 hrs at Neralakatte Nettamudnoor village Bantwal Taluk one Nithin driver of Tata Mobile vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-4118 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a tree. As a result Suresh Kumar (33) R/o Kulai village Mangalore Taluk, Saaji and Sunil who were traveling in the said Tata Mobile vehicle sustained grievous injuries.

On 14/02/2009 at 2000 hrs near Basthi School at Bajilakeri Mangalore accused Shailu @ Shailesh R/o Kinya Mangalore abused one Praveen R/o Land Building Bajilakeri Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 15/02/2009 at 1830 hrs accused one Nithin criminally restrained one Vijaya (19) R/o Sanoor Padavu Kariyangala village Bantwal Taluk near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with stone and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 16/02/2009 at 1530 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 25 yrs to 30 yrs was found near Beach Break Water at Panambur Mangalore. The death seems to be due to drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 16/02/2009 one Karabasappa accidentally fell down while walking near Sri Keshthra Dharmasthala at Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk. Further he was admitted to Govt. hospital at Belthangady where he was declared dead while under treatment on 16/02/2009 at 1415 hrs. The death seems to be due some illness.
