- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 23/02/2009 at 1630 hrs at Suralpady Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tata Safari car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-5373 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against pedestrians Arifa and Sayeena (07) caused them serious injuries. Further Sayeena was succumbed to her injuries while on the way to hospital.

The unknown bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

No. KA-19-W-7351 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Meghana Hipparagi (21) a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries. The unknown motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 22/02/2009 at 1800 hrs near Kajila bus stand at Thenkulipady village Mangalore Taluk one Prakash K. (22) R/o Nellithady Malali village Mangalore Taluk passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-1717 while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 24/02/2009 at 1230 hrs one Ivan Paes (37) R/o Bishop compound Attavara Mangalore was found dead near Rajarama Wine Shop at Balmatta Mangalore. The death seems to be due to heavy drunkenness.
