On 13/02/2009 in between 1830 hrs and 2230 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into house belonging to one Maimuna (35) R/o Kalamajalu Saletthoor village Bantwal Taluk by breaking the window and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 25,000 all in worth Rs. 5,00,000/.

- A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On the intervening night of 06-07/02/2009 accused Razak, Ibrahim, Rafeek, Ashoka and others committed theft of a Suzuki Machine belonging to one Jayasheela Kotian (50) R/o Mogaveerapatna Ullal Mangalore that was kept inside his Boat. The stolen property is worth Rs. 68,000/.
- A case of Ordinary Theft has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On the intervening night of 09-10/02/2009 accused Ibrahim, Razak and others committed theft of a Suzuki Machine belonging to one Abdul Khadar (20) R/o Kodi Ullal Mangalore that was kept inside his Boat. The stolen property is worth Rs. 45,000/.

On 13/02/2009 at 1245 near Milagres center cross road at Mangalore one unknown scooter rider drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Paul Monthero (68) R/o Mangajeshwara Kasaragod District Kerala State a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. The unknown scooter rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 08/02/2009 at 2220 hrs in front of SDM college at MG road Mangalore one unknown driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-6790 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-6790. As a result one Laxman Kudva R/o Mangalore rider of motorcycle sustained simple injuries. The unknown auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 13/02/2009 at 0830 hrs on NH-17 at KPT Mangalore one Jayakara Ameen driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-20-B-1691 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-9517. As a result one Mohammed (45) R/o Kavoor Mangalore rider of motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 12/02/2009 at 1300 hrs one Thejaswini (20) W/o Krishna attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison at Padpu Sullia Town owing to personal problem. Futher she was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore were she declared dead while under treatment on the same day at 1605 hrs.

- A case of Woman missing has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 11/02/2009 at 2000 hrs one Pooja (20) W/o Vasudeva R/o Gurudev Lodge Kudumbi Garden Mangalore left her house and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
