On 22/02/2009at 2130 hrs near Kukke Shri Subramanya temple at Subramanya village Sullia Taluk accused some unknown persons abused one Venugopal T.S (50) R/o Thumkur district in filthy language and robbed Gold chain, Wrist watch and cash from him and assaulted him by hand owing to trivial issue.

- A case under Cruelty by husband, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station on the complaint of one Naseeba (28) W/o Haneef R/o Perimaru Pudu village Bantwal Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Haneef (husband) assaulted and gave physical and mental harassment to one Naseeba to bring more dowry and also gave life threat her.

- A case of Fatal road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. Where in one Ahammad Bawa (56) has been declared dead while under treatment on 21/02/2009 at 2335 hrs. The said Ahammad Bawa was seriously injured by a bus in a road traffic accident on 29/12/2008 at 1500 hrs at Kokkarekallu Karnadu village and admitted to the KMC hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has been already registered in Mulki Police Station.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 22/02/2009 at 0900 hrs at Bhattagudde Bejai Mangalore one driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-361 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-1998. As a result Honda Activa scooter rider one Balachandra Head constable Traffic East Police Station sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 20/02/2009 at 1030 hrs in front of Navaneetha Hotel at Mangalore one Mohammed Althaf rider of Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-8024 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-9621. As a result one Sanjeeva A. (65) R/o Kandevu Padil Mangalore driver of auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 22/02/2009 at 1200 hrs at Pathravo circle Puttur Town one unknown driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-4942 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Hasanabba Haji (65) R/o Baikampady Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 22/02/2009 at 1600 hrs at Kallagundi Sampaje village Sullia Taluk one unknown driver of Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-12-N-6102 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Mahalinga Rai (75) a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 22/02/2009 at 1100 hrs accused Abdul, Farooq, Kunhi Monu, Hasainar and Basheer forming into unlawful assembly near bus stand at Medu Saletthuru village Bantwal Taluk and criminally restrained one Rafiq (20) R/o Medu Saletthuru village Bantwal Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with wooden stick and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

On 22/02/2009 at 1930 hrs accused Shrinivas @ Sheena abused one Raghavendra (42) R/o Moodumane Bajpe Mangalore Taluk in filthy language near bridge at Kujumagudde Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk and assaulted him with wooden stick owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 21/02/2009 at 0400 hrs Nethravathi and Anitha both R/o Halekote Belthangady Town attempted to commit suicide by consuming some tablets. Further they admitted to KMC hospital at Mangalore where in one Anitha was declared dead while under treatment on the same day at 1610.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. In between 21/02/2009 at 0800and 22/02/2009 at 0600 hrs one Babu Naik (80) R/o Ubaradka Mitthuru village Sullia Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to health problem.
