No. KA-19-W-6357 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Ningappa (40) R/o Meenakaliya Baikampady Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

No. KA-19-D-1717 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Thyampanna Shetty a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

On 09/02/2009 at 2130 hrs accused Balakrishna, Shivakumar, Sanjeeva and Harish criminally trespassed into the house belonging to Sanjeeva (35) R/o Melanthabettu village Belthangady Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with stone. They also assaulted Yashodha and Laxmi who came to help Sanjeeva owing to trivial issue.

Shetty, Executive Super Cassette Company along with Barke Police conducted raid on aStall No.32 at Karavali Uthsav Ground Lalbhag Mangalore and seized 1,200 duplicate DVD/VCDs of Super Cassette company by arresting Iqbal (24) R/o Deralakatte Mangalore and Riyaz (22) R/o Natekal Deralakatte Mangalore. The seized property is worth Rs. 1, 23,500/.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 09/02/2009 at 1330 hrs one Annayya Gowda P. (32) R/o Berike Padnoor village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to health problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 09/02/2009 at 0930 hrs one Annappa Naik (42) R/o Panjala Aryapu village Puttur Taluk accidentally fell down from tree while cutting the branches of the tree and got seriously injured at Sooraje Aryapu Puttur Taluk. Further he succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 14/01/2009 at 1530 hrs one Deepa @ Janaki (22) R/o Hosamane Bangady Indabettu village Belthangady Taluk accidentally got serious burn injuries while lighting a kerosene lamp in her house and she was admitted to L.M. Pinto Hospital at Belthangady Town where she succumbed to her injuries while under treatment on 09/02/2009 at 0500 hrs.
