- A case under Cruelty by husband, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station on the complaint of one Naseeba (28) W/o Haneef R/o Perimaru Pudu village Bantwal Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Haneef (husband) assaulted and gave physical and mental harassment to one Naseeba to bring more dowry and also gave life threat her.

On 14/02/2009 at 0830 hrs on NH-48 at Valacchil village Mangalore Taluk one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AA-4959 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Mundappa Poojary (65) R/o Valacchil Padavu Arkula village Mangalore Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.

On 19/02/2009 at 2330 hrs on NH-17 at Honnakatte Kulai village Mangalore Taluk one Kushalappa driver of mini lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-10-B-2593 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Padmanabha (30) R/o Vamanjoor Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.

On 20/02/2009 at 1530 hrs at Gandhinagara Badagulipady village Managalore Taluk one unknown driver of tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-20-A-9551 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-6092. As a result motorcycle rider Sandeep S.M R/o Bejai Kapikad Mangalore and Rajaneesh pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries. The unknown tempo driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident as been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 21/02/2009 at 1315 hrs near Babbukatte school at Permannur village Mangalore Taluk one Paris K.P. (23) driver of Maruti Zen car bearing Reg. No. KL-18-A-8800 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an electric pole. As a result electric pole got damaged. No causalities reported.

No. KA-20-9229 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-6088. As a result motorcycle rider Bhaskara (27) R/o Hassan District and Mohan pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 18/02/2009 at 1800 hrs at Mitthuru Idkidu village Bantwal Taluk one Jagadhisha rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-K-9868 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Sharath Kumar (34) R/o Puttur Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 21/02/2009 at 1800 hrs at Madaingala Arikady village Puttur Taluk one Venugopal driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-2135 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-1389. As a result car driver Prathik (19) R/o Lalbhag Mangalore and Prabhudevu who was traveling in the said car sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 20/02/2009 at 2400 hrs and 21/02/2009 at 0630 hrs one Deju Mogera (58) R/o Sootarpete Mangalore left his house and did not return to his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
- A case of Girl missing has been registered in nMulki Police Station. On 15/02/2009 at 1500 hrs one Rency Wilma Rebello (25) R/o Udupi District went to Divine Call Centre at Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
