In between 1400 hrs of 21/02/2009 and 1300 hrs of 24/02/2009 some unknown culprits committed theft of a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-22-S-8228 belonging to one Sathyan Gagappa Bhandary R/o Bejai New road Mangalore that was parked in the parking place of KSRTC bus stand Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 30,000/.

No. KA-19-W-5 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Parvathiyamma (68) a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 08/03/2009 at 2055 hrs near Bus stop at RTO Mangalore one Keshava (55) R/o Atthavara Mangalore passenger of the bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8127 while getting down from the bus, the driver of bus moved the bus in a negligent manner due which he fell down from the bus and sustained simple injuries. The bus driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 10/03/2009 at 0430 hrs on Kavoor-Bajpe road at Malavoor village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tempo vehicle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-6206 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the tempo vehicle capsized. As a result Nagesh S. Valikar R/o Hanagunda Taluk Bagalakote District who were traveling in the said tempo sustained grievous injuries.
