- A case under Hurt has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 24/03/2009 at 0830 hrs accused Somashekar Rao and Nirmala assaulted Suresh by hand and with wooden stick. They also assaulted Sandhya (38) W/o Suresh R/o Kedhla Amturu village Bantwal Taluk who came to help Suresh with wooden stick near their house owing to civil dispute.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 23/03/2009 at 1800 hrs at Bunts hostel Mangalore one driver of Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-8114 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-2077. As a result motorcycle rider One Roshan (22) R/o Kuttipalike Vamanjoor Mangalore sustained simple injuries. The Indica car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 21/03/2009 at 1100 hrs at Thumbe Bantwal Taluk one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-353 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Venkamma (65) R/o Mogdalgudde Bantwal Town a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 24/03/2009 at 1130 hrs at Bappalige junction Puttur Town one Ramachandra driver of tempo rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-729 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which tempo rickshaw capsized. As a result one Yathish who was traveling in the said tempo rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.

On 23/03/2009 at 2000 hrs at Sanyasigudde Kedambadi village Puttur Taluk one Ramesh Rai driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-1066 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a new motorcycle. As a result motorcycle rider one Abbas M (54) R/o Kabaka Puttur Taluk sustained simple injuries.
