- A case of Burglary has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. In between 1430 hrs of 04/03/2009 and 11/03/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one John Menejas (60) R/o Loretto padavu Amtadi village Bantwal Taluk and committed a theft of Bronze and Copper vessels. The worth of stolen property is yet to be estimated.

- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 1300 hrs and 1345 hrs of 06/03/2009 some unknown culprits committed a theft of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-4528 belonging to one Abdul Rahiman R/o Halekote Ullal village Mangalore Taluk that was parked near Masjad Huda mosque at Thokkottu Ullal village Mangalore Taluk. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 38,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 11/03/2009 at 0930 hrs at Gutthigaru Sullia Taluk one Gunapala driver of Jeep bearing Reg. No. CNH-2747 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the jeep capsized. As a result Kushi (02), Chethan, Anand and Keshava who were traveling in the said jeep sustained serious injuries. Further Kushi was admitted to City hospital at Mangalore where in she was declared dead while under treatment on the same day.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. In between 1000 hrs and 1500 hrs of 11/03/2009 near Nalpad residency L.H.H road at Mangalore one unknown driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MF-9696 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-6316 belonging to one Shekar Shetty R/o Kadri Hills Mangalore. As a result car got damaged. No causalities reported. The driver of Maruti Omni car escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 11/03/2009 at 0810 hrs infront of Kumar’s International Hotel at Bendoorwell Mangalore one unknown auto rickshaw driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-8466. As a result motorcycle rider one Shiju Joseph (32) R/o Kavoor Mangalore sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 11/03/2009 at 0630 hrs at Krishnanagar Bondel Mangalore one Mahammad Ashraff rider of scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-1298 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which scooter capsized. As a result one Ameeruddin (28) R/o Krishnanagar Bondel Mangalore pillion rider of said scooter sustained simple injuries.

On 09/03/2009 at 1045 hrs on NH 17 near Karnataka Bank at Idya village Mangalore Taluk one Mayyadi rider of scooty bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-6029 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-2154. As a result motorcycle rider one Suresh Adyanthaya (37) R/o Pandeshwara Mangalore sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangdy Police Station. On 11/03/2009 at 0615 hrs on NH 48 at Bollaru 34th Nekkiladi village Puttur Taluk one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-06-D-1080 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which lorry capsized. As a result lorry got damaged. No causalities reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 10/03/2009 at 0900 hrs at Adai Kokkada village Belthangady Taluk one driver of Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-18-M-428 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-4641. As a result one Binu T.P. (29) R/o Valala Rekhya village Belthangady Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 26/01/2009 at 1430 hrs at Nelyadi Puttur Taluk one Rukmaya Poojary driver of Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-415 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw. As a result one Kamala (45) R/o Janatha Colony Nelyadi village Puttur Taluk passenger of said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries. The driver of jeep escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 11/03/2009 at 2115 hrs accused Chandrashekara and others forming into an unlawful assembly near S.V.S College at Kotramangundi Bantwal Town and abused one Shivalinga Kondagooli The Election Officer Bantwal Taluk in filthy language while he was on duty at S.V.S College at Kotramangundi Bantwal Town and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 11/03/2009 at 0730 hrs one Putta Baira (40) R/o Kaje Bellare village Sullia Taluk was found dead near school at Nettaru Bellare village Sullia Taluk. The death seems to be due to heavy drunkenness.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 10/03/2009 at 1430 hrs one Rajani B. B (22) R/o Kajimadka Kalmakkaru village Sullia Taluk committed suicide by consuming some poison in her house owing to personal problem.
