- A case of Burglary has been registered in Venoor Police Station. In between 2200 hrs of 17/03/2009 and 0500 hrs of 11/03/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Shekara Gatty (45) R/o Aladapadav Kodambettu village Bantwal Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed a theft of Gold ornaments and Cash Rs. 50,000/. The worth of stolen property is Rs. 6, 00,000/.

No. KA-19-A-997 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Hero Honda motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-6672. As a result motorcycle rider Rajendra D (47) R/o Bejai New Road Mangalore sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathakal Police Station. On 17/03/2009 at 0915 hrs on NH 17 Thadambail Surathkal village Mangalore Taluk one Laxmisha driver of Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-262 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Sadashiva Shetty (67) R/o Thadambail Surathkal village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 18/03/2009 at 0800 hrs at Dasakodi Balthila village Bantwal Taluk one Nandisha driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-09-F-4092 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a lorry bearing Reg. No. AP-37-3344. As a result Sangith (19) R/o Valasari Bantwal Town and other passengers of the bus sustained grievous injuries.

Further they abused Keshava and Sadashiva @ Sadananda (36) R/o Beejadaguri Pajeer village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to previous enmity.
- A case under Hurt has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 07/03/2009 at 2300 hrs accused Sathisha assaulted his wife one Prema (20) Kampamane Savanoor village Puttur Taluk with sickle owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 18/03/2009 at 2000 hrs accused Devi Prasad and Sunil criminally restrained one Ananda (34) R/o Devaragadde Subramanya village Sullia Taluk and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

On 17/03/209 at 1800 hrs accused Maxi Thauro, Maxim Pinto and Avil Pinto criminally trespassed into the land belonging to one Cyril Thomas Mendonsa (48) R/o Thakode Puchamogaru village Mangalore Taluk and damaged the pipeline and also gave life threat to him. The motive seems to be that Cyril Thomas Mendonsa had earlier lodged a complaint against accused persons in Moodabidre Poilce Station. The damage caused is Rs. 45,000/.
