On 24/03/2009 at 0015 hrs on specific information PI DCIB along with staff conducted raid on 4th floor of Thribuvan commercial Complex at Bejai Mangalore. At the time of raid Police found 12 persons playing “Ander - Bahar” with cards. Police seized cash Rs. 16,230/ and playing cards from the spot by arresting Valerian Mendas, Thilakraj, Hithesh Kumar, Joseph Ivan D’ Souza, Naveena, Babu, Haneef, Madhu, Abdul Azeez, Radhakrishna, Shivanna and Chandrappa who were indulging in gambling.
In this connection, a case has been registered against the arrested persons in Urwa PS U/s 80 of the Karnataka Police Act.
