On 19/03/2009 at 1800 hrs accused one Suresh Gowda abused his wife one Indira (30) R/o Kuppetti Uruvalu village Belthangady Taluk in filthy language and also gave life threat to her owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Criminal restraint, Outraging modesty of woman, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 19/03/2009 at 1715 hrs accused one Manohara (26) R/o Kalame Sampaje village Sullia Taluk criminally restrained one Ramitha N. B. (21) at Kallugundy Sampaje village Sullia Taluk and outraged her modesty by pulling her hand and assaulted her by hand and also gave life threat to her.

On 19/03/2009 at 1845 hrs accused one Jayarama Gowda R/o Kadavepalla Guttigaru village Sullia Taluk criminally restrained one Namitha (22) R/o Kadavepalla Guttigaru village Sullia Taluk while she was on her way to home by walk and outraged her modesty by pulling her hand and also gave life threat to her.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 19/03/2009 at 1700 hrs in front of Pabbas Lalbagh Mangalore one unknown driver of Santro car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-8752 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-03-HC-518. As a result motorcycle rider one Shesha Nayak (19) R/o Bhojaraja lane Dongarakeri Mangalore sustained simple injuries. The car driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 18/03/2009 at 2330 hrs on NH 17 at Talapdy Mangalore Taluk one Areef driver of an Auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KL-14-B-3221 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which the auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Areef driver of said auto rickshaw, Prajwal B Saliyan (18) R/o Kunjatthur village Manjeshwara Kerala State and Rajesh who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.

On 19/03/2009 at 2030 hrs on NH 17 at Thokkottu Permannur village Mangalore Taluk one Arun Naik rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-4372 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Doraiswamy (18) R/o Deralakatte Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. Further one Prabhakar pillion rider of said motorcycle also sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 19/03/2009 at 1600 hrs at Bakila Alankaru village Puttur Taluk one Seetharama driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2371 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-20--9229. As a result Dhananjaya (30) R/o Patrame village Belthangady Taluk driver of said jeep, Karthik, Avvamma and Choma who were traveling in the said jeep sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 20/03/2009 at 0900 hrs at Panakaje Sonandur village Belthangady Taluk one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-9622 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a bicycle. As a result bicycle rider one Anni Moolya R/o Panakaje Sonandur village Belthangady Taluk sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 20/03/2009 at 2000 hrs one Deepesh (04) R/o Punchalakadu Kapu Udupi District accidentally slipped into pond at Valpady village Mangalore Taluk while walking near his house and died due to drowning.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 20/03/2009 at 1000 hrs one Sundara (42) R/o Nada village Belthangady Taluk while working near his house accidentally touched electric wire due which he got electrocuted and died on the spot.

- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Sullia Police Station. One Yashodha @ Bhagirathi (19) R/o Madhaka Duggaladka Sullia Town left her house on 20/03/2009 at 1200 and did return her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
