- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Outraging modesty of woman, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 12/03/2009 at 1830 hrs accused Manjunatha and Mahabala Shetty abused one Sudha K. Rao (52) R/o Parabailu Ujire village Belthangady Taluk in filthy language near her house and outraged her modesty by pulling her hand and also assaulted her with stone owing to civil dispute between them.

- A case of Fatal road accident has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. Where in one Abdul Rasheed (50) R/o Mallaru village Mangalore Taluk has been declared dead while under treatment on 13/03/2009 at 1250 hrs. The said Abdul Rasheed (50) was seriously injured by a motorcycle in a road traffic accident on 10/03/2009 at 1300 hrs near Green Garage at Goodina Bali Bantwal Town and admitted to the Highland hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has been already registered in Bantwal Town Police Station.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 13/03/2009 at 0930 hrs in front of Saibaba Mandira at Chilimbi Mangalore one Shekara driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8913 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Anitha Fernandez a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 13/03/2009 at 1835 hrs at Kaikamba Mangalore one unknown bus driver drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which Hemanth @ Sagar (20) R/o Moodushedde Mangalore who was traveling in the said bus got thrown out from bus and sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 12/03/2009 at 1545 hrs near bus stand at Surathkal Mangalore one Srinivasa Gowda driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8472 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Prakash Shetty (32) R/o Haleyangady Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 10/03/2009 at 1800 hrs at Akashbhavana Mangalore one rider of scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-2145 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Moulya (04) a pedestrian and caused her simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 12/03/2009 at 1930 hrs on NH-17 at Kapikad Ullal Mangalore one Sunil Kumar Rai rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-S-1041 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Suresha B.P. (61) a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. Further motorcycle rider lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Sunil Kumar Rai and Preetham pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 12/03/2009 at 2030 hrs at Sampya Aryapu village Puttur Taluk one Virendra Kumar rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-8193 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result one Kamala (23) R/o Kodagu District pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 13/03/2009 at 0730 hrs accused unknown persons abused one Deepak Prabhu (24) R/o Kaikunje Bantwal Town in filthy language at Basthipadpu Bantwal Town and assaulted him by hand and with iron rod owing to trivial issue.
