- A case of Outraging the modesty of women along with Hurt has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 14/03/2009 at 1645 hrs accused Sathisha and Sridhara tried to outraged the modesty of one Kavitha (13) D/o Ravi Poojary R/o Kudumbi Garden Kudumbi Hithilu Mangalore by pulling her dress near her house and assaulted her father Ravi Poojary by hand.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 16/03/2009 at 1100 hrs near Manja mosque at Punacha village Bantwal Taluk one Pavan Kumar driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2219 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle and collided against a tree. As a result one Rita D’Souza (49) R/o Malethadka Punacha village Bantwal Taluk sustained serious injuries. Further Rita D’Souza was succumbed to her injuries while on the way to hospital.

As a result motorcycle rider one Sudhakar R/o Bijamar Amblamogaru village Mangalore Taluk sustained simple injuries.

No. KA-19-W-598 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Nazeer (26) R/o Alekala Ullal Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

No. KA-19-U-3466 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-1754. As a result one Chidananda Poojary rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-1754 sustained grievous injuries.

On 16/03/2009 at 1730 hrs accused inmates of mobile shop at 3rd floor Saibeen Complex Lalbagh Mangalore and others forming into an unlawful assembly at Saibeen Complex Lalbagh Mangalore and assaulted one Prathviraj (24) R/o Kodialbail Mangalore and his friends by hand and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

On 14/03/2009 at 1645 hrs accused Vijaya Gowda (22) and Ravi Poojary (45) criminally restrained one Sridhara Gowda (42) R/o Venkata Compound Don Bosco Hall Lane Mangalore near his house and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him by hand owing civil dispute between them.
- A case under Hurt has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 16/03/2009 at 1730 hrs at Saibeen Complex Lalbhag Mangalore accused 3 unknown persons assaulted one Jubair (24) R/o Surathkal Mangalore and Musthafa by hand with with blade owing trivial issue.

- A case of Kidnapping has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station relating to kidnapping of one Surekha (16) D/o Rukmini R/o Dasakodi Balhtila village Bantwal Taluk by Musthafa. The said Surekha was gone for work to Kalamudrana press at Kalladka Golthamajalu village Bantwal Taluk on 11/03/2009 and found missing from since. Now as it is confirmed that she has been lured away by Musthafa, the case has been converting to kidnapping.

On 15/03/2009 at 2130 hrs on credible information ASI Kadaba PS along with staff conducted raid on open place near railway track at Nettana Bilinele village Puttur Taluk and seized 15 liquor bottles (180ML) of worth Rs. 900/ by arresting Padmayya Naik (54) R/o Sannara Bilinele village Puttur Taluk and Chandanam (45) R/o Goonadka Bilinele village Puttur Taluk.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 15/03/2009 and 0815 hrs of 16/03/2009 one Manoj (26) R/o Santhosh Nagar Munnur village Mnaglore Taluk committed suicide by hanging at Pandith house Permannur village Mangalore Taluk owing to financial problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 04/03/2009 at 1030 hrs one Karunakara Poojary was accidently fell down from tree while cutting the branches of the tree and got seriously injured at Hosalike Belanduru village Puttutr Taluk. Further he was admitted to Govt Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he was declared dead while under treatment on 15/03/2009 at 2315 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. In between 1200 hrs of 15/03/2009 and 1730 hrs of 16/03/2009 one Ravi Devadiga (28) R/o Kurumbadka Badakodi village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to personal problem.
