- A case under Cruelty by husband and his relatives, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station on the complaint of one Asmath Thaslima W/o Mohammed Javed R/o Madyala Arala village Bantwal Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Mohammed Javed (husband) and his relatives Abbas, Jahida, Haneef, Sadeeq, Musthafa, Mohammed and Jaleela gave physical and mental harassment to one Asmath Thaslima to bring more dowry and assaulted her by hand and also gave life threat her.
- A case under Cruelty by husband along with Abetment of suicide has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station on the complaint of one Jatthappa Gowda (65) R/o Balehithlu Irdhe village Puttur Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Thaniyappa Gowda R/o Bangaradka Aryapu village Puttur Taluk gave physical and mental harassment to one Gopi (41) W/o Thaniyappa Gowda R/o Bangaradka Aryapu village Puttur Taluk due to which on 28/03/2009 she was committed suicide by jumping in to a well near her house.

On 30/03/2009 at 1700 hrs near Vijaya Bank at Jyothi Mangalore one Dr. Alvar M.C driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-7103 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-9955 from behind. As a result motorcycle rider and pillion rider Shantha (53) R/o Bolar Mangalore sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 29/03/2009 at 2230 hrs near PVS circle Mangalore one unknown driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-8526 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Bajaj Chethak scooter bearing Reg. No. CRX-2523. As a result scooter rider Shashiraj N. B and pillion rider Karthik S. Nirer R/o Kodialbail Mangalore sustained simple injuries. The driver of car escaped from the place withot stopping his vehicle.

On 30/03/2009 at 1450 hrs on NH 17 near NMPT main gate at Panambur Mangalore one Basavaraja driver of Pickup Jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5104 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-1454. As a result car driver Vijay Kumar (44) R/o Asaigoli Konaje village Mangalore Taluk and other passengers who were traveling in the said car also sustained simple injuries.

On 30/03/2009 at 1030 hrs at Anthonikatte Malvooru village Mangalore Taluk one Stany driver of Ambassador Car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-4392 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-M-8765. As a result Iliyas D’ Souza (44) R/o Karambar Malavooru village Mangalore Taluk, Stephan and Madhukar who were traveling in the said car sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 30/03/2009 at 0815 hrs at Neeralike Iruvail village Mangalore Taluk one Asif driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AE-8191 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which bus fell into a roadside ditch. As a result Apporva K (21) R/o Kattanige Iruvail village Mangalor Taluk and other passengers who were traveling in the said bus sustained grievous injuries.

No. KA-19-B-8819 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-2394 due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Venkatesha driver of auto ricksahw, Rukkayya Poojary, Sundaramma and Jhanaki all residence of Dhota Kemral villaeg Mangalore Taluk sustained grievous injuries.

No. KA-19-F-2286 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a M80 scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-21-5565. As a result scooter rider Mohammad Rafeeq and Abdul Basheer (21) R/o Koyilathadka Olamogaru village Puttur Taluk pillion rider of said scooter sustained simple injuries.
