On 24/03/2009 at 0010 hrs one unknown person gained entry into the house belonging to one Sumathi Shetty w/o Seetharama Shetty R/o Banglethota Bappanadu village Mangalore Taluk and snatched the gold chain from her neck and ran away. The value of the property is Rs. 50,000/.

On 23/03/2009 at 0715 hrs near Narahari Parvatha at Panemangalore village Bantwal Taluk one Shivarudrappa driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2230 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-4885. As a result one Krishna (33) rider of motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Sullia Police Station. One Balakrishna Naik R/o Mundakaje Amaramudnoor village Sullia Taluk left his house on 16/03/2009 and did not return his house there after. He has been found missing since then.
