In between 01/05/2008 at 1500 hrs and 02/05/2008 at 0945 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Leena D’Souza (48) R/o near Don Basco hall cross road Mangalore by breaking back door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments all in worth Rs. 6,000/.

- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Ullal Police Station. In between 01/05/2008 at 2300 hrs and 02/05/2008 at 0600 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of Quails car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-508 belonging to one Ismail (39) R/o Mukkacheri Ulllal village Mangalore Taluk that was parked in the premises of his house. The Quails car is worth Rs. 6,00,000/.

- A case under Cruelty by husband and his relatives, Hurt, Criminal intimidation along with Dowry Prohibition Act has been registered in Women Police Station on the complaint of one Asma Kousar W/o M.M. Ahammed @ Juleef R/o Kankanady Mangalore. In the complaint it is alleged that accused M.M. Ahammed @ Juleef (husband) and his relatives Rehana Mukthar gave physical and mental harassment to Asma Kousar to bring more dowry and assaulted her by hand and they also gave life threat to her.

No. KA-11-7003 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MF-3736 driven by one Sujeer Vinod (42) R/o Kadri Kambla Mangalore. As a result car got damaged. No causalities reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 02/05/2008 at 1815 hrs at Kaje Padavu Paduperaje village Mangalore Taluk one Balakrishna driver of tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-20-8338 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against pedestrians Durga Prasad (30) R/o Kondemoole village Mangalore Taluk and other one and caused them grievous injuries.

On 02/05/2008 at 2200 hrs near Devaragudde cross at Badagayekkar village Mangalore Taluk one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AE-299 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-1102. As a result Shailesh Kumar (22) rider of motorcycle and Pushparaj pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

No. KL-14-D-6077 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result one Manoj Rai (18) R/ Kaikara Ariyapu village Puttur Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 02/05/2008 at 1700 hrs at Badinalu Jalligudde Ujire village Belthangady Taluk one Dinesh Gowda driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-866 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Marlin Lobo (27) R/o Maadanda Savanalu village Belthangady Taluk, her father Peter Lobo and Lalitha who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Venoor Police Station. On 01/05/2008 at 2245 hrs at Golikatte Pilya village Belthangady Taluk one Umesha Poojary driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-5384 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle casized. As a result Sumithra (24) R/o Guddadare Navoor village Belthangady Taluk, Kusumavathi, Shashikala, Siddu Poojary, Sundari, Koragappa Poojary who were traveling in the said jeep sustained simple injuries.

On 01/05/2008 at 1945 hrs at Kukkuthady Murulya village Sullia Taluk one Mohanadas driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-M-4649 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw. As a result Madhava (41) R/o Yedamangala village Sullia Taluk driver of auto rickshaw and Jagadisha who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.
