In between 21/05/2008 at 2000 hrs and 22/05/2008 at 0845 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Ummar Farooque (33) R/o Obattukere Ullal village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 65,000/ all in worth Rs. 87,000/.
- A case of Burglary has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On the night of 21/05/2008 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Badurddin (35) R/o Obattukere Ullal village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the front door lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 10,000/ all in worth Rs. 24,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 22/05/2008 at 1230 hrs near Nehru Avenue road at M.G. road Lalbhagh Mangalore one driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-25-C-200 drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-8192 driven by one Glows Muhaiddin (29) R/o Krishnapura Surathkal Mangalore. As a result car got damaged. No casualties reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathakal Police Station. On 22/05/2008 at 0945 hrs on NH 17 at Chithrapura junction Kulai Mangalore one Koragappa Saliyan driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-AB-5999 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-6655. As a result one Vasudeva Holla (60) R/o Kavoor Mangalore rider of said Honda Activa scooter sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 22/05/2008 at 0845 hrs at Nadupadavu cross Konaje village Mangalore Taluk one Raju K. driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-03-MG-136 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-15-E-6616. As a result Arun Kumar (22) R/o Krishannagara Thokkuttu Mangalore motorcycle rider and Sujith Kumar pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 19/05/2008 at 0830 hrs at Daddalpalke Kowkardy village Puttur Taluk one Gangadhar driver of Tata Sumo bearing Reg. No. KA-52-2174 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result one Deepak (16) R/o Yashwathapura Bangalore who was traveling in the said Tata Sumo sustained grievous injuries.

On 20/05/2008 at 2100 hrs accused Krishna, Shantha, Chinnu and Udaya abused one John Mendonca R/o Shalepadavu Moodushedde village Mangalore Taluk in filthy language near his house and assaulted him by hand and with wooden stick owing to trivial issue.

- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 22/05/2008 at 2115 hrs on credible information PSI Panambur PS along with staff conducted a raid at small shop near Pooja Canteen at Panambur Mangalore and seized 480 liquor bottles worth Rs. 31,000/ by arresting one Nawaz (29) R/o Kuloor Mangalore who was selling these liquor bottle illegally there.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 20/05/2008 at one Siddartha (40) R/o Kellaputtige Karkala Taluk accidentally fell down due some illness near the house belonging to one Zakariya R/o Munchoor Surathkal Mangalore. Further he was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on 22/05/2008. The death seems to be due some illness
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 17/05/2008 at 0730 hrs one Lingappa Gowda (48) R/o Pattna house Kodimbal village Puttur Taluk sustained serious burn injuries while trying to light a stove in his house. He was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 21/05/2008 at 2215 hrs.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 22/05/2008 one unknown female dead body aged about 45 yrs to 50 yrs and one unknown male dead body aged about 25 yrs to 30 yrs were found near Nethravathi Snanghatta at Dharmastala village Belthangady Taluk. The death seems to be due to consuming some poison.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 15/05/2008 in between 0900 hrs 1900 hrs one Mohanadas R/o Kuali Mangalore attempted to commit suicide by consuming poison in his house. Further he was admitted to A.J. Hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 22/05/2008 at 1330 hrs.

- A case of Missing has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. One Niveditha (32) R/o Kodange house Bantwal Town left her house on 20/05/2008 and did not return her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
