- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered Urwa Police Station. On 03/05/2008 at 1430 hrs near Hathill Mangalore one Noor Ahamed (45) driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-5605 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dahsed against the wall due which the Lorry capsized. As a result Noor Ahamed driver of said Lorry and Safraz (30) conductor of said lorry sustained serious injuries. Further Safraz succumed to his his injuries while on the way to hospital.

No. KA-19-P-3969 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Babu Naik (70) R/o Kodakkal Alape village Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 02/05/2008 at 1645 hrs at Mantrady Pencharu Mangalore Taluk one driver of Tempo rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-21-P-6221 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Karibasappa (38) R/o Harappanahalli Davanagre a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 03/05/2008 at 1815 hrs at Ujire Town Belthangady Taluk one Shivaprasad rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-6475 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Balakrishna (55) R/o Pejathadka Ujire village Belthangady Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 03/05/2008 at 1845 hrs at Arthila Malady village Belthangady Taluk one Shankar of Bus bearing Reg. No. KA-25-A-9357 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2049. As a result both the vehicles got damaged. No causalities reported.

On 03/05/2008 at 1000 hrs Elmudy at Puttur Town Balachandra (37) R/o Kowdichar Ariyadka village and Chandrashekar (37) R/o Padnur village Puttur Taluk sustained serious injuries when the wall where they were working accidentally collapsed over them due to the negligence of one David owner of Deniel Enterprises Elmudy Puttur. Where in one Balachadra succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.

On 03/05/2008 at 2030 hrs on credible information PSI Sullia PS along with staff conducted a raid on an open place at Aranthodu village Sullia Taluk and seized 29 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) and cash Rs. 200/ by arresting one Subramani (37) R/o Taluk who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there.
- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 03/05/2008 at 0915 hrs on credible information PSI Puttur Rural PS along with staff conducted a raid on an open place at Mairolu Netanige Mudnur village Puttur Taluk and seized 138 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) and cash Rs. 210/ by arresting one Balakrishna Rai (45) R/o Netanige Mudnur village Puttur Taluk who was selling these liquor bottles illegally there.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 03/05/2008 at 1630 hrs one Munna @ Naushad (10) S/o Ibrahim R/o Mothishyam building Pandeshar Mangalore accidentally fell down from the building while working on the said building and got seriously injured and died on the spot.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 03/05/2008 one Shilpa Byanrjee R/o Mallikatte Mangalore committed suicide by hanging in her house owing to personal problem.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 03/05/2008 0830 hrs one unknown male person aged about 30-35 yrs accidentally slipped into the Nethravathi river Dharmasthala village Belthangady Taluk and died due to drowning.
