- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Barke Police Station. In between 26/04/2008 at 2115 hrs and 30/04/2008 some unknown culprits committed theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-H-7824 belonging to one Harinara Sooda R/o 4th Cross Konchadi Mangalore that was parked at parking place of KSRTC at Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 6,000/.
- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 05/05/2008 in between 1100 hrs and 1230 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Hero Honda Passion motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-12-H-3507 belonging to one Mohammed Kunchi P. (36) R/o Badiyadka Kasaragod District Kerala State that was parked in front of Francy Complex at Gandhinagara Sullia Town. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 20,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 06/05/2008 at 1455 hrs at Karanagalapady Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-8415 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-813 due, which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Savitha who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 06/05/2008 at 1100 hrs on NH 17 at Adamkudru Jappinamogaru village Mangalore Taluk one driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-2726 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-1337. As a result one Nashamaddin (20) R/o Talapady village Mangalore Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 04/05/2008 at 1830 hrs on NH 48 near B.A school at Thumbe village Bantwal Taluk one Sunil Kumar driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5613 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result lorry got damaged. No causalities reported.

On 06/05/2008 at 0700 hrs accused Thimmappa Gowda R/o Belalu village Belthangady Taluk assaulted his brother Chanana Gowda (45) R/o Marpal house Belalu village Belthangady Taluk near his house and and fired at him with a Air gun and tried to kill him owing civil dispute.

On 05/05/2008 at 2100 hrs accused Sheenappa Naika, Chandrappa Naika, Monappa Naika, Sadananda Naika and Nalini forming into an unlawful assembly at Thimalike Maninalkoor village Bantwal Taluk and abused Sundara Mugera R/o Thimalike Maninalkoor village Bantwal Taluk and his wife Sesamma in filthy language and assaulted them by hand. The motive seems to be civil dispute between Sundra Mugera and accused persons.

On 05/05/2008 at 2000 hrs accused Sundara and Sesamma criminally restrained Sadananda R/o Maninalkoor village Bantwal Taluk and his brother Mohana at Thimalike Maninalkoor village Bantwal Taluk and abused them in filthy language and assaulted them by hand and with sickle The motive seems to be civil dispute between Sadananda and accused persons owing to civil dispute between them.

On 06/05/2008 at 1130 hrs on credible information PSI Belthangady PS along with staff conducted a raid house belonging to one Harish Kumar R/o Manjotti Nada village Belthangady Taluk and seized 56 liquor bottles (each 650 ml) of worth Rs. 3,500/ by arresting Harish Kumar who kept these liquor bottles illegally there.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthanagady Police Station. On 06/05/2008 at 2100 hrs one Latha (17) R/o Vidyanagara Ujire village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by hanging in her house owing to personal problem.
