- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 29/05/2008 at 1700 hrs accused Elias D Souza abused his wife Anasthal Pinto R/o Padukodi village Kulur Mangalore in filthy language and assaulted her with a sharp weapon in her house. He also assaulted his daughter Savitha Olivera (26) who came to help Anasthal Pinto and also gave life threat to them owing to family dispute.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 29/05/2008 at 0900 hrs near VRL Port circle at Mangalore one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-7762 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Habeeb Rahiman R/o Bengre Bunder Mangalore who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 29/05/2008 at 1400 hrs Mariyadi Marpady village Mangalore Taluk one Divakara driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7380 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a 407 tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-20-4273. As a result Raghavendra driver of 407 tempo, Rama R/o Karnadu village Mangalore Taluk, Amar, Manjunath, Basavaraju and Prashanth who were traveling in the said tempo sustained grievous injuries.

On 26/05/2008 at 0610 hrs Pumannu Cross Talapady village Mangalore Taluk one Ambrose D Souza driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-P-3087 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. Ka-19-A-6245. As a result one Robert D Souza (46) R/o Deralakatte Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk driver of the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 30/05/2008 at 1235 hrs near Anganvadi at Kodaje Mani village Bantwal Taluk one Suresh Shuntikoppa driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-12-A-6653 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-6653. As a result one Ashok rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 30/05/2008 at 1425 hrs near Santhekatte at Belthangady Town one Jayaraj rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-5426 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Ramanna Gowda (48) R/o Baraya Palke house Kuvettu village Belthangady Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. Further motorcycle rider lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a reuslt Jayaraj motorcycle rider and pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 30/05/2008 at 1400 hrs accused Manjunatha, Raghavendra and Prasanna criminally restrained one Krishna Murthy R/o Hampankatte Mangalore near Town Hall at Mangalore and assaulted him by hand and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 30/05/2008 at 1730 hrs one Sudesh Naik (42) R/o Nandila house Bannur village Puttur Taluk sustained grievous injuries when the mud wall where they were working accidentally collapsed over him. Further he was admitted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day.
