In between 13/02/2008 at 2300 hrs and 14/02/2008 at 0600 hrs accused one Shekara (20) R/o Hovinahadagali Taluk Bellary District gained entry into the house belonging to one Vasantha (32) R/o Aburao Gudde Bejai Mangalore by breaking the door lock and committed theft of a Copper Vesselss (Hande) worth Rs. 5,000/.
- A case of Burglary has been registered in Konaje Police Station. In between 19/05/2008 at 00930 hrs and 20/05/2008 at 0730 hrs accused some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Yusuf (39) R/o Asaigoli Manjanady village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the door lock and committed theft a Digital Camera, Saries and cash Rs. 46, 000/ all in worth Rs. 58, 000/.

- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Outranging the modesty of women has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 20/05/2008 at 1400 hrs at Meradka Kolthige village Puttur Taluk accused one Chidananda Rai abused one Chitraprabha (26) R/o Punardka Kolthige village Puttur Taluk in filthy language and outranged her modesty by pulling her dress. He also abused her brother Rajkumar and her mother Pushpavathi in filthy language and assaulted them by hand owing to personal enmity.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 20/05/2008 at 1515 hrs on Gundya-Subramanya road at Pilicharer Siribagilu village Puttur Taluk one Rajesha driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-21-A-5466 drove his in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a tree. Further jeep driver lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle capsized. As a result Suryanarana Bhat, Kamala, Anni @ Gangayya Gowda, Nemanna, Naveena and Laxmana Gowda who were traveling in the said jeep sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. Further Rajesh driver of jeep, Nemanna Gowda, Janardhana, Somanatha and Satheesha Gowda who were traveling in the said jeep sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 20/05/2008 at 1330 hrs in front of Bhandary Textiles at Surathkal Idya village Mangalore Taluk one Yelumali driver of Tanker baring Reg. No. KA-21-A-355 drove his in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Ramesh Kotiyan (50) a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. Further he was admitted to A.J. hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 20/05/2008 at 2000 hrs.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 20/05/2008 at 0500 hrs near bus stand at Lady Goshen Mangalore one unknown auto rickshaw driver drove his vehicle in rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Lokesha (45) R/o Herigundanoor Chitradurga a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The auto rickshaw driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 19/05/2008 at 2200 hrs at Kodankere Ithur village Puttur Taluk accused Koragappa Gowda abused Devappa Gowda K. R/o Kodankere Ithur village Puttur Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with wooden stick. He also assaulted his mother and his wife with wooden stick who came to help Devappa Gowda and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.
- A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 19/05/2008 at 1700 hrs at Tevu Pudu village Bantwal Taluk accused Shridhara and Shalini abused one Tharanatha R/o Tevu Pudu village Bantwal Taluk in filthy language and assaulted him with a sharp weapon.
- A case under Criminal restraint, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 19/05/2008 at 2200 hrs accused Manu @ Manohar driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8761 criminally restrained one Subramanya Bhat at Kallagundi Sampaje village Sullia Taluk and abused him filthy language and assaulted him by hand owing to trivial issue.

On 18/05/2008 at 1800 hrs accused one Addu criminally restrained one Mathias Miranda (39) R/o Kumeri Nada village Belthangady Taluk near his house and abused him in filthy language and also gave life threat to him. The motive seems to be that one Matthias Miranda had earlier lodged a complaint against accused person in Belthangady Police Station.
