- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 25/05/2008 in between 2000 hrs and 2100 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of an Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-02-M-7922 belonging to one Kimraz Jain (54) R/o Kote Taluk Mysore District that was parked near auto rickshaw park at Car street Subramanya village Sullia Taluk. The Mauti Omni car is worth Rs. 80,000/.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 25/05/2008 at 1330 hrs in front of Yenepoya Hospital at Kodialbail Mangalore one unknown motorcycle rider drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-2676 driven by one Thomas. As a result one Mahendra Singh (36) R/o T.T. Road Mangalore pillion rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-2676 sustained simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 24/05/2008 at 2115 hrs at Bogarugudde Pranthya village Mangalore Taluk one Alvin D’Souza rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-4271 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Nandana (27) R/o Kodangal Pranthya village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 24/05/2008 at 1730 hrs at Mani Bantwal Taluk one Nagaraja driver of Tanker bearing Reg. No. KA-52-3189 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which Tanker capsized. As a result Nagaraja driver of Tanker and Ibrahim Arif cleaner of the said Tanker sustained simple injuries.

On 25/05/2008 at 0900 hrs accused one Pavithra criminally trespassed into the shop belonging to Deranna Poojary (40) R/o Nettaru Bellare village Sullia Taluk and assaulted him with iron rod and also gave life threat to him. The motive seems to be that one Deranna Poojary had earlier lodged a complaint against accused Pavithra in Sullia Police Station.

On 25/05/2008 at 1045 hrs one Vasantha Poojary (35) R/o Neerpady Volamogaru village Puttur Taluk accidentally fell down from a tree while cutting the branches of the tree and got serious injuries and died on the spot.
