- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 07/05/2008 at 1415 hrs on NH 17 at Sankolige Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk one T.P.M. Pakkala driver of Maruti 800 car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-3064 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Lavanyya (17) R/o Beeri Kotekaru village Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. On 07/05/2008 at 1230 hrs at Kattathadka Noojibalthila village Puttur Taluk one unknown driver of jeep bearing Reg. No. KA-18-5289 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-J-8491. As a result one Padmayya Gowda (35) R/o Mithandelu Noojibalthila village Puttur Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries. The jeep driver escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Sullia Police Station. One Teena K.S. (18) R/o Hakathur village Madikeri Taluk Kodagu District left out side from Nanda hospital at Mangalore and did not return to her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
