- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 11/05/2008 at 1335 hrs at Krambaru Malavoor village Mangalore Taluk one Gopala driver of car bearing Reg. No. GT-1-BT-5187 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-2407. As a result one Karunakara (32) R/o Kenjaru village Mangalore Taluk rider of said Honda Activa scooter sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 12/05/2008 at 0900 hrs at Ujjodi Kankanady Mangalore one Dharmappa driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-5518 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-6098. As a result Subramanya rider motorcycle and Kushala (18) R/o Heamvathi Nagara pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 11/05/2008 at 1730 hrs in front of Shringeri Matta at Kotekaru village Mangalore Taluk one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-414 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Radha (51) R/o Batrakodi Neermarga Mangalore a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. On 12/05/2008 at 1100 hrs at Padil Puttur Town one Nagesh driver of KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2146 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner due which one Isamma R/o Putthila Belthangady Taluk who was traveling in the said bus was thrown out of the bus and sustained simple injuries.

- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Moodabire Police Station. On 12/05/2008 at 1700 hrs on credible information PSI Sullia PS along with staff conducted a raid on open place at Aliyoorpete Nellikaru village Mangalore Taluk and seized 27 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs. 890/. However accused one Shekara Poojary R/o Panapila village Mangalore Taluk managed to escaped from the scene.
- A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 12/05/2008 at 1800 hrs on credible information PSI Sullia PS along with staff conducted a raid on open place at Kallapane Kodiyala village Sullia Taluk and seized 45 liquor bottles (each 180 ML) of worth Rs. 1,200/ by arresting one Sankappa Poojary K. (48) R/o Kodiyala village Sullia Taluk who was selling these liquor bottle illegally there.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mulki Police Station. In between 09/05/2008 at 2200 hrs and 12/05/2008 at 0800 hrs one Rama Poojary R/o Kadvina Bagilu Bappaandu village Mangalore Taluk accidentally slipped into the Shabhavi river at Kolachekambla Bappanadu village Mangalore Taluk while taking bath and died due to drowning.
