- A case of Burglary has been registered in Urwa Police Station. In between 23/05/2008 at 1400 hrs and 26/05/2008 at 1300 hrs some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Manjula Anil (33) R/o Bejai New road Mangalore by breaking the window grill and committed theft of gold ornaments and a DVD Player all in worth Rs. 22,000/.

- A case under Attempt to Theft along with Essential Commodities Act, Motor Spirit and High Speed Diesel has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 26/05/2008 at 1400 hrs at Truck yard at Panambur Mangalore accused Dayananda Supervisor of said yard, driver of KA-19-B-6892, driver of KA-19-AD-9563 and others with a pipe and Cans and attempted to commit theft of diesel from Tanker KA-19-AE-9563. At the time ASP Panambur PS along with staff conducted a raid and seized the Tankers, pipes and Cans. On seeing the police team, the accussed who were engaged in this job fled from the place.

- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 24/05/2008 in between 1930 hrs and 2400 hrs some unknown culprits committed theft of a Splendor motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-17-K-6485 belonging to one Dr. Naveen P.R. (30) C/o Fr. Muller hospital Mangalore that was parked at parking place of Fr. Muller hospital Mangalore.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Surathkal Police Station. On 26/05/2008 at 1100 hrs on NH 17 near Post office at Surathkal Mangalore one driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-25-B-5497 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Scooty scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-3804. As a result Scooty rider one Mani R. (38) R/o Ashraya Colony Surathkal Mangalore sustained serious injuries. Further he was succumbed to his injuries while on the way to hospital.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 26/05/2008 at 1000 hrs at Beluvai Moodabidre Mangalore Taluk one driver of car bearing Reg. No. CRX-3246 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-20-B-1046. As a result Anni Moolya driver of auto rickshaw and other passenger who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained serious injuries. Further Anni Moolya was admitted to Spandana hospital at Karkala where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on same day.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 26/05/2008 at 0830 hrs on NH-17 at Haleyangady junction Mangalore one Mathew driver of Tempo Travels bearing Reg. No. KL-26-5171 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-2046. As a result Honda Activa scooter rider one Abdul Rahiman and Shekabba (60) pillion rider of said scooter sustained grievous injuries. Further they were admitted to A.J. Hospital at Mangalore where in one Shekabba succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day at 1005 hrs.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 26/05/2008 at 1230 hrs at Kuntikana Mangalore one Madhava rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Q-3491 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Vincent D’Souza R/o Bejai Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident as been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 26/05/2008 at 1110 hrs on Panambur Beach road at Panambur Mangalore one Santhosh driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-623 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against an electric pole due which electric pole got damaged. As a result Sheik Allauddin (48) R/o Kasaragod District Kerala State a pedestian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 24/05/2008 at 0400 hrs at Pernaje Madnoor village Puttur Taluk one Yuvaraja driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-36-A-1299 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which vehicle fell into a roadside ditch. As a result Yuvaraja driver of lorry and Ravi (21) R/o Odakkala village Chamarajanagara district cleaner of said lorry sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 26/05/2008 at 0800 hrs one Poulis Minejas (67) R/o Kanchirakody Ammunje village Bantwal Taluk while walking near her house accidentally touched the electric wire due which she got electrocuted and died on the spot.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. In between 25/06/2008 at 1700 hrs and 26/05/2008 at 1700 hrs one Anni Parava (35) R/o Bantrugudde Kuthluru village Belthangady Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing personal problem.

- A case of Man missing has been registered in Puttur Town Police Station. One Soorya Narayana Shasthri (36) R/o Siddapura Karawar District who was working at Harikere Padnoor village Puttur Taluk was found missing since 25/05/2008 at 0800 hrs.
- A case of Woman and Child missing has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. One Apolin Fernandez (21) W/o Roshan D’Souza. R/o Ujrupade Balnadu village Puttur Taluk left her house with her daughter Roshani (01) on the night of 15-16/05/2008 and did not return to her house there after. They have been found missing since then.
