- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 08/05/2008 at 1400 hrs at in front of Indira hospital at Mangalore one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-8871 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and applied break suddenly due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result one Mohammed Faisan (13) R/o Uppala Kasaragoad Kerala State who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 10/05/2008 at 1635 hrs on NH 17 at Thokkuttu junction Permannur village Thalapady village Mangalore Taluk one Ibrahim driver of car bearing Reg. No. KL-14-D-5877 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-3860 from behind. As a result one Joseph Felix D’Souza (37) R/o Permunnur village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

On 10/05/2008 at 2000 hrs at Ullalbail Ullal village Mangalore Taluk one Mohammed Rizwan one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-0284 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Abbas K.K. (28) R/o Naringana village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

On 09/05/2008 at 2230 hrs at Kalladka Golthamajalu village Bantwal Taluk one Rangaswami driver of KSRTC lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-01-F-7162 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and dashed against one Manjunatha (40) R/o Palahalli village Srirangapattana Taluk Mandya District a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

- A case of Girl missing has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 03/05/2008 at 1900 hrs one Sowmya (19) R/o Bedrabettu Indabettu village Belthangady Taluk went to Gurudeva college at Indabettu village Belthangady Taluk and did not return her house there after. She has been found missing since then.
