A case of Gambling under Karnataka Police Act has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 12/05/2008 at 1530 hrs on credible information PSI Subramanya PS along with his staff conducted a raid on public place at Poyyathoor Yedamangila village Sullia Taluk and seized 04 cocks, and cash Rs. 910/ by arresting Balakrishan, Laxminarayana, Thaniyappa and 6 others who were indulged in betting on cock fighting.
In this connection, a case has been registered against the arrested persons in Subramanya PS U/s 87 of the Karnataka Police Act.
