- A case under Cruelty by Husband along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Sullia Police Station on the complaint of one Meenakshi N.R. (50) W/o Rajendra N.R. R/o Nadubeddu Jalsoor village Sullia Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Rajendra N.R. (husband) gave physical and mental harassment to one Meenakshi N.R. and also gave life threat to her owing to family dispute.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 02/04/2009 at 0200 hrs near Souza Factory at Kaikamba Mangalore one Mohammad Farvez driver of Tipper Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-50-1951 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Dharma Reddy cleaner of said lorry and sustained him serious injuries and died on the spot.
- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 02/04/2009 at 1000 hrs at Urpelpade Maruru village Mangalore Taluk one Sundara @ Elyanna driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-AA-9666 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over the vehicle due which bus capsized. As a result one Dharnappa Poojary (37) passenger of said bus sustained serious and died on the spot.
- A case of Fatal road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. Where in one Ganesha (29) R/o Marakada Konchady Mangalore has been declared dead while under treatment on 03/04/2009 at 0915 hrs. The said Ganesha was seriously injured by a motorcycle in a road traffic accident on 01/04/2009 at 2000 hrs near Kavoor Service Station at Shanthi Nagara Mangalore and admitted to the AJ hospital at Mangalore. In this connection a case has been already registered in Kavoor Police Station.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Kavoor Police Station. On 01/04/2009 at 2030 hrs near Service station Shathinagar Kavoor Mangalore one Ganesh rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-1468 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over the vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result motorcycle rider Ganesh sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 01/04/2009 at 1015 hrs near bus stand at Ajjinadka Puncha village Bantwal Taluk one rider of Kinetic Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-1490 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Annu Madivala (60) a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 02/04/2009 at 0830 hrs at Pattaje Mudnoor village Puttur Taluk one Ramanna Gowda driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8438 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-8438 driven by Gopalakrishna (39). As a result Keshavamoorthi pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained simple injuries.

On 02/04/2009 at 1630 hrs accused Aboobakkar, Iqbal and Abdul Rahiman @ Adam abused one Abdul Rahiman R/o Sajipanadu village Bantwal Taluk near his house in filthy language and also gave life threat to him owing to political issue.
