- A case under Hurt has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 14/04/2009 at 2000 hrs accused Ummar Beary assaulted his wife Saramma W/o Ummar Beary (36) R/o Panthadka Netla Mudnoor village Bantwal Taluk with wooden stick owing to family dispute.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 15/04/2009 at 0805 hrs near KPT at Mangalore one driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-9212 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Indica car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MD-5977 driven by one Imithiyaz Hasan (25) R/o Ullas Nagara Harekala Mangalore. As a result the car got damaged. No causalities reported.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. On 15/04/2009 at 1345 hrs at Badagundy Navoor village Bantwal Taluk one driver of Ambassador car bearing Reg. No. CNX-6604 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2175 driven by Thippeswami C (27). As a result Ambassador car driver and 3 passengers who were traveling in the said car sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 14/04/2009 at 1030 hrs on Kokkada- Dharmasthala road at Nidle village Belthangady Taluk one Rajaram Bhat driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-7502 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Prakash (31) R/o Yedapadavu village Mangalore Taluk and Padmini who were traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.

On 15/04/2009 at 2230 hrs in the Hotel New Roopika at Central Market Mangalore accused one Ratthu @ Rathnakara R/o Boloor Mangalore attempted to murder one Tharanatha Shenoy (25) R/o Mahamahi Temple road Carstreet Mangalore by assaulted him with sickle owing to financial dispute between them.

On 15/04/2009 at 1115 hrs accused Kishore, Ashwath, Jastin and another one person abused one Praveen Kumar (35) R/o Jeppu Bappal Mangalore in filthy language near his house and assaulted him with wicket and also gave life threat to him owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 14/04/2009 at 2000 hrs one Ummar Beary (56) R/o Panthadka Netlamudnoor village Bantwal Taluk committed suicide by firing gas cylinder and got serious burn injuries and died on the spot.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 14/04/2009 at 2200 hrs one Vijayakumar (38) R/o Padnadka Yenekallu village Sullia Taluk committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to family dispute.
