- A case under Attempt to commit theft has been registered in Barke Police Station. In between 2300 hrs of 21/04/2009 and 0600 hrs of 22/04/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Church at Bokkapatna Mangalore by breaking the door lock and attempted to committed theft.

- A case under Cruelty by husband and his relatives has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station on the complaint of one Ramlath (24) W/o Anees Rahiman R/o Ballurgudde Adyar village Mamngalore Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Anees Rahiman (husband) and his relatives Abdul Rahiman, Bifathumma and Abdul Samad gave physical and mental harassment to Ramlath to bring more dowry.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 22/04/2009 at 1305 hrs near Baikampady Bridge at Panambur Mangalore one Sulaiman driver of lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-1894 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-W-9172. As a result scooter rider one Joseph M.A. sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 22/04/2009 at 0645 hrs at Mannagudde Mangalore one driver of Veganar car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-9371 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-8796. As a result one Raghuveer Kamath rider of said scooter sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Barke Police Station. On 16/04/2009 at 1915 hrs near Ullal Nursing Home at Alake Mangalore one unknown motorcycle rider drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-H-4144. As a result one Ranga Swami (49) R/o Urwa Mangalore rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-H-4144 sustained grievous injuries. The unknown motorcycle escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 21/04/2009 at 1900 hrs at Ballur Gudde Adyar village Mangalore Taluk one Chandrashekara driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-5444 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Kumaran (65) R/o Jappinamogeru Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore Rural Police Station. On 22/04/2009 at 1330 hrs at Mahakalipadpu Mangalore one Aboobakkar driver of Maruti Van bearing Reg. No. KA-19-MA-2605 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against an auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7921. As a result one Damodhara driver of auto rickshaw sustained grievous injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 22/04/2009 at 1500 hrs one Thilos Kumar accidentally fell down while working at Kukyajadka Amaramudnoor village Sullia Taluk and died on the spot. The death seems to be due some illness.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bantwal Rural Police Station. In between 2100 hrs of 21/04/2009 and 0630 hrs of 22/04/2009 one Rama Poojary (65) R/o Mantame Ammunje village Bantwal Taluk committded suicide by hanging in his house owing to health problem.
