• A case under Rioting, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Subramanya Police Station. On 19/04/2009 at 0830 hrs accused Hukrappa, Venkat Valalambe, Kushalappa, Balachandra, Nityananda, Jayarama and Chamayya forming into unlawful assembly at Koovekkodi Guthigaru village Sullia Taluk and abused one Bhavani R/o Barpane Sullia Town in filthy language and assaulted Bhavani and her children Poornesh, Priyantha and Janani with wooden stick and with sickle and also gave life threat to them owing to civil dispute.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 10/04/2009 at 1030 hrs at Kshaje Kinya village Mangalore Taluk one Rahiman driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-21-27-37 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Abdul Razak (36) R/o Pare Kinya village Mangalore Taluk and caused him grievous injuries.

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 19/04/2009 at 1615 hrs one driver of Tempo bearing Reg. No. KA-27-5270 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which tempo capsized. As a result Vidya (50) R/o Kundapura Taluk Udupi District, Sumithra, Bhavana, Anup, Ramachandra, Ashwini, Akhila, Smitha, Ramachandra Nair and other passengers who were traveling in the said tempo sustained grievous injuries.
  

• A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 18/04/2009 at 1630 hrs at Highway Junction Uppinangady Town one driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KL-14-G-1032 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-J-6947. As a result one Abdul Latheef K R/o Kanyarakodi Ilanthila village Puttur Taluk rider of said motorcycle rider sustained grievous injuries.

On 19/04/2009 at 0830 hrs accused Shridahara, Bhavani, Poornesh, Priyantha and Janani forming into unlawful assembly at Koovekkodi Guthigaru village Sullia Taluk and abused one Jayarama Gowda (65) R/o Motte Gutthigaru village Sullia Taluk in filthy language and assaulted Jayarama Gowda, Nithyananda and Venkat Valalambe by hand and with sickle and also gave life threat to them owing to civil dispute.

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 19/04/2009 at 1545 hrs accused Salam Aziz and Salil abused Abubakkar (55) R/o Turing Point Apartments Marnamikatte Mangalore and Abdul Malik in filthy language near their house and assaulted them with bricks and with cold drink bottle owing to trivial issue.
  

• A case under Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace along with Hurt has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. On 19/04/2009 at 1610 hrs accused Malik, Abubakkar and two others abused Salil (23) R/o Turing Point Apartments Marnamikatte Mangalore and Salam Aziz in filthy language near their house and assaulted them with sickle and with cold drink bottle owing to trivial issue.

• A case under Karnataka Excise Act has been registered in Bantwal Town Police Station. On 19/04/2009 at 0840 hrs on credible information DySP Lottery and Excise detention squad Mangalore along with staff intercepted one Padma Poojary (48) R/o Benjana Padavu village Bantwal Taluk near Polali Dwara Bantwal Taluk and seized 96 bottles of liquor which was being transported illegally. The total value of the seized property is Rs. 17, 3,690.24/.

Unnatural Death Report: 03

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 19/04/2009 at 1800 hrs one dead body of one Shakunthala (59) R/o Flat No. 103 Shahimahal Karangalpadi Mangalore was found in her room. The death seems to be due to some illness.
  

• A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Vittal Police Station. In between 1700 hrs of 18/04/2009 and 1045 hrs of 19/04/2009 one Rajesh (40) R/o Kujapady House Vittal village committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to health problem.
  A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 18/04/2009 at 2000 hrs one Devappa Moolya R/o Arthila Uppinangady committed suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to health problem.
