In between 2030 hrs of 04/04/2009 and 0800 hrs of 05/04/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the shop belonging to one Gopal Shetty (58) R/o Janthigoli Kaukrady village Belthangady Taluk by breaking the shutter lock and committed a theft of Fridge and grossary items all in worth Rs. 20,000/.

On 04/04/2009 at 2100 hrs accused Badruddeen, Nowshad and Abdul Razaq criminally trespassed into the house belonging to one Khathijamma (28) W/o Abdul Latheef R/o Kotepura Ullal Mangalore and abused her in filthy language and assaulted her and her brother Mohammed Haneef by hand and also gave life threat to them owing to trivial issue.

On 01/04/2009 at 1015 hrs near bus stand at Ajjinadka Puncha village Bnatwal Taluk one unknown rider of Kinetic Honda scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-1490 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Annu Madiwala (60) R/o Padikallu Punacha village Bantwal Taluk a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries. Further he was admitted to Wenlock hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on 05/04/2009 at 1500 hrs.

No. KA-19-X-6835 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-989. As a result Deepak rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-989 and Sandeep pillion rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-6835 sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 05/04/2009 at 1530 hrs at Kolya Someshwara village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Swift car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-5428 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-30-M-578. As a result Maruti Omni car driver Naveen Kumar, Sadananda U. Nayak R/o Kerala State, Somanatha and Mamatha who were traveling in the said Maruti Omni car sustained grievous injuries.

On 04/04/2009 at 2100 hrs accused Abdulla, Haneef, Abdul Rahiman and Arafath criminally trespassed into the premises of house belonging to one Abdul Razaq (46) R/o Kotepura Ullal Mangalore and abused him in filthy language and assaulted him with stone. They also assaulted Bipathumma by hand who came to help Abdul Razaq and damaged the house by pelting stone owing to trivial issue.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Belthangady Police Station. On 05/04/2009 at 0700 hrs one Jinnappa Shetty (80) R/o Gramagutthu Kavalapadoor village Belthangady Taluk accidentally fell down near his house and died on the spot. The death seems to be due to illness.
