- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 26/04/2009 at 1830 hrs at Patla Paladka village Mangalore Taluk one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-K-6304 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-R-1437. As a result one Ramesh rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-20-R-1437 sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.

On 26/04/2009 at 1700 hrs accused Shashidhara (37) R/o Idya village Surathkal Mangalore Taluk and Radhkrishna (23) R/o Krishnapura Katipalla village Mangalore Taluk picked up quarrel and started fighting over trivial issue in a public place at Surathkal-Bajpe bus stand Mangalore Taluk. The Police arrested the accused and took up a case under affray (sec 160) IPC
