On 01/04/2009 at 18305 hrs Srikanth K PI Puttur Town PS along with his staff on credible information conducted raid on house at Madyalakatte Puttur Taluk. At the time of raid Police found 06 persons playing “Ander - Bahar” with cards. The Police seized cash Rs. 11,850/ and playing cards from the spot by arresting Kannan (35), Saravan Kumar (32), Thangapandyan (30), Karpayya (33), Shanmugam (25), Murugan (37) who were indulging in gambling.
The total value of siezed property is Rs. 11,850/.

In this connection, a case has been registered against the arrested persons in Puttur Town PS U/s 79, 80 of the Karnataka Police Act.
