- A case of Burglary has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On the interviewing night of 13-14/04/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Sri Durgaparameshwari Temple at Kunjoorpanja Aryapu village Puttur Taluk by removing the roof tile and committed theft of cash Rs.7, 000/ by breaking the 'Kanike Hundi'.

- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 1400 hrs and 1430 hrs of 12/04/2009 some unknown culprits committed a theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-V-1321 belonging to one Krishna Raj (24) R/o Meenakaliya Panambur Mangalore that was parked in front of Shadi Mahal at Bolara Mangalore. The motorcycle is worth Rs. 19,000/.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 13/04/2009 at 1415 hrs at Ganjimatta Mulali cross Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk one unknown Yamaha motorcycle rider drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-1220. As a result Bhaskara (31) R/o Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-1220 and Purandara Kulal pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained serious injuries. Further they admitted to Tejashwini hospital at Mangalore where in one Purandara Kulal was declared dead while under treatment on 14/04/2009 at 1800 hrs.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Urwa Police Station. On 13/04/2009 at 2130 hrs in front of Gokul Hall at Ashokanagara Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-8040 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Suzuki Access scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-3689. As a result Suzuki Access scooter rider one Nanditha Nayak (23) R/o Sulthan Battheri road Mangalore sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore East Police Station. On 12/04/2009 at 1945 hrs near Dennis Bakery at Bendoorwell Mangalore one rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-S-6133 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Ismail M (35) R/o Manjanady village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries. The motorcycle rider escaped from the place without stopping his vehicle.

On 12/04/2009 at 2130 hrs in front of Derebail Church Hall at Kuntikana Mangalore one vinod rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-6739 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Vivian Martis (19) R/o Barebailu Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

No. KA-19-Z-9790 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-01-J-4188. As a result motorcycle rider Asif and Mohammed Haneef (23) R/o Permannur village Mangalore Taluk pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

No. KA-20-L-9137 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-1000. As a result Chethan rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-1000 and Prashanth pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fata Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 14/04/2009 at 1730 hrs at Madla Mudnoor village Puttur Taluk one driver of Maruti car bearing Reg. No. KA-21-P-6 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a KSRTC bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-F-2598. As a result one Maruti car driver sustained simple injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 14/04/2009 one Santhosh Pereira R/o Kolambe village Mangalore Taluk attempt to commit suicide by consuming poison in his house owing to health problem. Further he was admitted to Fr Muller hospital at Mangalore where he declared dead while under treatment on same day at 1230 hrs.
