In between 2130 hrs of 19/04/2009 and 0700 hrs of 20/04/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the shop near Malali cross at Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk belonging to one Vasudeva Poojary (29) R/o Badagulipady village Mangalore Taluk by breaking the shutter lock and committed theft of gold ornaments and cash Rs. 7,500/- all in worth Rs. 12,500/.
- A case of Burglary has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. In between 1200 hrs of 19/04/2009 and 0530 hrs of 20/04/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the house belonging to one Abdul Rahiman (42) R/o Hirthadka Uppinangady village Puttur Taluk by breaking the backdoor lock and committed theft of gold ornament and cash all in worth Rs. 24,000/.

On 20/04/2009 at 2030 hrs one Roopa (29) W/o Benjamin was on her way to home by walk near Ideal Clinic at Nandavara Munnur village Bantwal Taluk the accused Shameer, Bonga Shaeif and Yeliyas came near her and tried to outrage her modesty by pulling her hand and also gave life threat to her.

No. KA-19-A-8252 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Ahil (02) R/o Kudroli Mangalore a pedestrian and caused him grievous injuries.

No. KA-19-P-2184 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Rajaram (50) a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Panambur Police Station. On 15/04/2009 at 1630 hrs near NMPT main gate at Panambur Mangalore one driver of Tipper lorry bearing Reg. No.KA-19-B-5574 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a scooter bearing Reg. No. GA-02-M-5503. As a result scooter rider John K.J (50) R/o Jokatte Mangalore and Rosamma pillion rider of said scooter sustained grievous injuries.

No. KA-21-J-9522 driven by Chandrashekara (29) R/o Paletthady Noojibalthila village Puttur Taluk. As a result one Jayashri (08) pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Panambur Police Station. In between 1900 hrs and 2200 hrs of 19/04/2009 one Madhava (60) R/o Kinnigoli Mangalore accidentally fell down while working at M.D.L Yard at NMPT Panambur Mangalore and died on the spot. The death seems to be due to illness.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 20/04/2009 at 1620 hrs one unknown male dead body aged about 35 yrs to 40 yrs was found in Nethravathi River at Jeppina Mogeru Mangalore. The death seems to be due to drowning.
