- A case of MV Theft has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station. In between 1300 hrs and 1400 hrs of 28/04/2009 some unknown culprits committed a theft of a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-629 belonging to one Prashanth Rai (3) R/o Subhash Nagar Padeshwar Mangalore that was parked near his house.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 29/04/2009 at 1130 hrs at Nellikatte Marpadi village Mangalore Taluk one Ashpak driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-C-1135 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-R-4554. As a result one Athahulla @ Mohammed Husain pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries. Further he was admitted to City hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries the same day at 1720 hrs while undergoing treatment.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mangalore North Police Station. On 27/04/2009 at 1700 hrs on Kalikamba Temple road at Mangalore one Mohan rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-X-7298 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over his vehicle due which motorcycle capsized. As a result one Shanthosh (36) R/o Mullakadu Kavoor Mangalore pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Sullia Police Station. On 28/04/2009 at 1545 hrs at Jyothi Circle at Sullia Town one Hamza D. rider of Pulsar motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-21-K-519 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Honda Activa scooter bearing Reg. No. KA-21-H-9492. As a result Keshava Prabhu rider of said scooter and Raghava Prabhu pillion rider of said scooter sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Uppinangady Police Station. On 28/04/2009 at 1730 hrs at Boodujalu Nedla village Puttur Taluk one driver of Maruti Omni car drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against another car bearing Reg. No. KA-02-MD-2876 driven by one Bhagavan. As a result one Sarala who was traveling in a car bearing Reg. No. KA-02-MD-2876 sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 27/04/2009 at 1300 hrs at Mangilapadavu Vittal Town Puttur Taluk one Yusuf driver of car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-N-1700 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-U-726 driven by one Umesh. As a result one Jagadeesh pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Venoor Police Station. In between 2000 hrs of 28/04/2009 and 0800 hrs of 29/04/2009 one Sadananda Gowda R/o Kolakemajalu Badagakarandoor village committed suicide by hanging in his house owing to health problem.
