- A case of Burglary has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. In between 2100 hrs of 29/06/2009 and 0530 hrs of 30/06/2009 some unknown culprits gained entry into the Shri Annapoorneshwari temple at Kodyadka Putthige village Mangalore Taluk by removing the roof tiles and committed a theft of Silver ornaments and Kanike Hundi all in worth Rs. 1,00, 000/.

- A case under Cruelty by husband and his relatives, Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace, Hurt along with Criminal intimidation has been registered in Kadaba Police Station on the complaint of one Jamila (24) W/o Shekabba R/o Kalayi Koyla village Puttur Taluk. In the complaint it is alleged that accused Shekabba Beary (husband), Sulaiman Haji, Jamila and Lailath abused one Jamila in filthy language and gave physical and mental harassment to her and also gave life threat to her.

In the complaint it is alleged that accused Raghunatha Poojary, Hemavathi and Hema abused one Hemavathi in filthy language and gave physical and mental harassment to her and also gave life threat to her.

- A case of Fatal Road accident has been registered in Bajpe Police Station. On 30/06/2009 at 1745 hrs on NH 13 at Banglegudde Cross Muluru village Mangalore Taluk one driver of Maruti Omni car bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Z-2938 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-K-626. As a result Darshan (19) R/o Moodabidre Kallabettu village Mangalore Taluk rider of said motorcycle and Punith (18) pillion rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries. Further Punith was admitted to City hospital at Mangalore where he succumbed to his injuries while under treatment on the same day at 2045 hrs.

- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Ullal Police Station. On 27/06/2009 at 1100 hrs on NH 17 at Kolya Mangalore Taluk one unknown driver of car bearing Reg. No. CNO-5099 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-L-8947. As a result one Harish (32) R/o Basthipadpu Ullal village Mangalore Taluk rider of said motorcycle sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Konaje Police Station. On 29/06/2009 at 1630 hrs at Deralakatte Belma village Mangalore Taluk one Hithendra driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-19-A-7733 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner due which one Divakara Poojary (24) R/o Manjeshwara Kerala State who was traveling in the said bus was thrown out of the bus and sustained grievous injuries.

No. KA-20-B-3039 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Ananda Shetty (60) R/o Mulki Bappanadu village Mangalore Taluk a pedestrian and caused him simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Mulki Police Station. On 29/06/2009 at 2005 hrs at Moorukaveri Thalipadi village Mangalore Taluk one Sathish driver of bus bearing Reg. No. KA-20-AB-2255 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Kinetic Honda scooter driven by Sujith (25) R/o Rajarathnapura Mennabettu village Mangalore Taluk. As a result one Munna @ Vidhyadhara pillion rider of said scooter sustained grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 29/06/2009 at 1500 hrs at Melaginapete Vittal Town Bantwal Taluk one driver of auto rickshaw bearing Reg. No. KA-19-B-896 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and lost control over the vehicle due which auto rickshaw capsized. As a result Chandrashekar (38) R/o Chandalike Vittal Town Bantwal Taluk who was traveling in the said auto rickshaw sustained simple injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Vittal Police Station. On 22/06/2009 at 0900 hrs at Kalkudike Kepu village Bantwal Taluk one Shivabaghu rider of motorcycle bearing Reg. No. KA-19-Y-2566 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against one Thaniyaru (65) a pedestrian and caused her grievous injuries.
- A case of Non Fatal Road accident has been registered in Puttur Rural Police Station. On 30/06/2009 at 0010 hrs at Kumbra Volamogru Puttur Taluk one unknown driver of Lorry bearing Reg. No. KA-05-B-4669 drove his vehicle in a rash and negligent manner and collided against a Car bearing Reg. No. KA-12-N-6029. As a result one Ismail R/o Kalayi Koila village Puttur Taluk driver of said car sustained simple injuries.

On 30/06/2009 at 0900 hrs accused Rajeevi, Ramappa and their daughter abused one Balakrishna Gowda, Town Planning Officer Mangalore City Corporation in filthy language while he was on duty at Bandhapadpu Jeppu Bappal Mangalore owing to trivial issue.
- A case of Counterfeiting currency has been registered in Mangalore South Police Station on the complaint of Chaithanya Thalluru Chief Manager State Bank Of India Mangalore where in it is alleged that some unknown customers came to the State Bank Of India Mangalore and deposited cash. On checking, bank officials found 01 Nos. of counterfeit currency of face value Rs. 500/ in the bundle.

- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Moodabidre Police Station. On 30/06/2009 at 0145 hrs one Ravindra (26) R/o Jagidhabettu Kellaputthige village Mangalore Taluk was fell down due to heavy drunkness. Further he was admitted to Alva’s hospital at Moodabidre where he was declared dead while under treatment on the same day.
- A case of Unnatural Death Report has been registered in Kadaba Police Station. In between 1600 hrs of 29/06/2009 and 1130 hrs of 30/06/2009 one Vishwanatha Gowda (24) R/o Yeluvala Renjiladi village Puttur Taluk committed suicide by hanging near his house owing to personal problem.
